Very cozy & hospitable Show original

We really enjoyed it. The apartment on the boat is very cozy and lovingly furnished. Everything looked very new and well-maintained. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The shower was very pleasant. The stoneware dishes are very pretty. There were fresh cut flowers in a vase to welcome us. The fridge offered a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. And a small emergency supply of crispbread, small jams, and muesli bars, as well as coffee biscuits, coffee, and various teas, rounded out the offerings. Water for the dog was also available upon arrival. The only inconvenience was that the outside stairs are made of railings, so my dog had a lot of trouble going up and down them. But I imagine this will change in the long run. The owners also live on the boat. They are very nice and reserved and also have a dog. They also have rental bikes available, which, although very heavy, are really easy to handle. We rode them into the city center several times. A great offer. Thank you very much! 😊 We would love to come back. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!

    Absolutely loved the accommodation

We absolutely loved the accommodation and the offer from Frans to pick us up from the airport. That was so helpful as it made finding the place so easy as we often get lost haha.

Frans was very polite and helpful and give clear instructions to everything. It was also really handy that we could borrow two of many umbrellas. The place was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. He even offered snacks and drinks, which we thought was very generous and sweet.

We loved the surroundings of the beautiful houseboat, it truly is a beautiful place and home. And it was nice to stay somewhere a little different. The information book that they provide is also very handy and helpful. We really loved our stay here and hope to return :)

Thank you so much Frans, to you and your partner for a wonderful stay. Scott & Dixie.

    Amsterdam Trip

The host's accommodation was excellent, same as pictures on the listing. The location was great, with a canal at the front and a long park with both walking and cycling trails at the back. Restaurants, a grocery store, a local cheese shop, a microbrewery, and an open windmill were within 1 kilometre of the houseboat. The host also supplied some snacks and beverages for guests. Old downtown was a 30-minute Uber ride, and the airport was a 15-minute Uber ride. I recommend using Uber from the airport because the taxi overcharged us insanely. Thanks, hosts!!!

    Wonderful houseboat!

My husband and I stayed on this lovely houseboat for a couple of nights, and it was a perfect experience! It was really close to a working windmill that was great to walk over to. The houseboat was welcoming and accommodating, and the bed was the most comfortable bed we had while traveling in Europe. It was such a unique and fun experience, and we loved every minute of it! Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts!
