Very convenient place and well equipped house boat. Will definitely come back.

Very relaxing and in a great location.

It’s a one room apartment with a huge window, where you can sit and relax. Every evening we watched all the boats coming by like a TV program. The room was clean and all necessary stuff is in it, for example a coffee machine.

This was the best place we’ve ever rented over all hotels, B&Bs, etc. The location is perfect. Close to bars, restaurants, sights. Easy check in. Maria was very helpful. The unit is very updated and clean. Now the view! The large doors that open right to the canal. Simply amazing. Put a couple cushions out, lay down and enjoy with a glass of wine. The tour boats come by and are envious of the spot! Love all the waves from everyone :) Very quiet at night even though you’re close to it all. Shades darken the whole place and a comfy bed to boost. Highly recommended. Thank you Maria for a trip to end our Europe adventure that we’ll never forget. A+++

We had a wonderful weekend at Maria's houseboat. The room was clean and sufficiently comfortable. You couldn't cook, but who would want to during such a short stay in a city with what felt like 10,000 restaurants and bars.

The bathroom is quite comfortable for such a small houseboat apartment. The bed was comfortable for us, only a second duvet could have been provided, although the one that was there was very large and all in all adequate. With the key came a customer card from Albert Hein, which gave us discounts when we went shopping; that was really a nice touch.

Maria welcomed us warmly, showed us everything and then we didn't see her again until we left. We liked the most the passing tourist ships, to which we could wave at the open window while getting out of bed in the morning and toast to them with a beer while sitting in front of the window in the evening. We were able to catch many an envious but always happy look...

The boat is otherwise in a very quiet location, although it is only a few meters from the Nieuwmarkt and it is also not far from the Rembandtplain. Almost everything is within walking distance. We will definitely come back here again!
