Houseboat description

The stunning sun deck offers yet another space to enjoy the almost 360 harbour view and is ideal for relaxation and having a BBQ. The kitchenette is equipped for preparing light meals (no cooking/no stove). There are different appliances available like an oven / micorwave / kettle / toaster / egg-cooker / Nespresso-machine / fridge.

The independent B&B upstairs is private and the ideal retreat for 1 or 2 guests (not more). You have your own entrance. Note: downstairs is inhabited.

As is typical on ships in general it should be said that not all the areas of the ship are standard height* which is why the studio may not be suitable for very tall people!

    Very nice boat Show original

We were on the boat for a weekend and it was all very well organized and beautiful. The terrace is very large and most of the day in the sun, so you could relax and soak up the sun. The boat was very clean. The surrounding area was quiet, supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Suzan was very hospitable and kind. The accommodation can only be recommended.

    Best Houseboat Stay!

I surprised my boyfriend with a houseboat stay for his birthday and it was amazing! The space was clean and spacious allowing for us to relax and enjoy the water. It was easy to order food for delivery and just relax on the deck to watch the sunset. Suzan was a great host, quick to communicate and even helped me get a birthday cake to add to the surprise. You are a little out of the Amsterdam action which we wanted as we live in the city and needed a quick getaway. Highly recommend this experience!

    A wonderful option in Amsterdam

We enjoyed five days on the houseboat and highly recommend it. The location is convenient and scene so relaxing with the boats slowly going by on the river. The houseboat has everything you need for a most-memorable vacation, and having owner Suzan nearby was very helpful when we needed anything.

Luxury experience...one step away from night life!

Before leaving towards Amsterdam, Vale and I were searching for a special place to celebrate our honeymoon. A place comfortable, nearby the centre but quite at the same time. Luxury, well-finished and with a touch of high personality. In one word we were looking for a special and no touristic place to stay. Thanks to Suzan and her kindness, our staying was so perfect. She was not only a lovely host, but she helped us in different ways. She's got tips to reach the place safe and sound, to use the private sauna (an unforgettable experience), to enjoy the sun on terrace. We are sure to reply this breathless experience very soon!

Simply stunning...perfect destination for a couple!

Our stay on the houseboat has been wonderful. We stayed for my husband's birthday in August. She's absolutely beautiful. Be assured that there are absolutely no compromises staying on her that you sometimes experience when staying on a boat. She's quiet, airy and really comfortable. We had breakfast on the sundeck, watching the moorhen mums with their babies and seeing the early morning swimmers go by. You're really close to the city center and the public transport is cheap, clean and convenient. There's a great Italian and Spanish restaurant within staggering distance. Our evenings were rounded off with a bottle of wine on the sundeck watching amazing sunsets. A truly 5 star experience. Suzan, thank you for everything you did for us. I can't thank you enough X
