This big and luxurious houseboat is situated at a unique location in the eastern part of Amsterdam; Zeeburg
Lots of water, a large park and a buzzling shoppingstreet, Javastraat with little lunchrooms, galeries, markets, restaurants, shops & bars.
Also there is a very good connection to the central trainstation by tram.
But now first something more about the boat. As you can see on the photo's we have put all the love and effort in creating the ultimate houseboat experience. The interior is best described as contemporary eclectic with an eye for detail and small fun elements all through the houseboat.
The spacious living room and open, fully equipped kitchen, give a great view over the water. You will enjoy many ducks, swans and geese swimming by while you sit back and relax with your beloved ones. Even kingfishers are not very hard to spot. We have used a lot of warm, natural materials in both the finishing as the furniture, in order to create a cozy yet classy atmosphere. From the front door you step onto the terrace, giving a true sense of freedom.
The high-end kitchen with Italian natural stone and American refrigerator will satisfy any foody, as well as the many restaurants in the neighborhood.
The boat offers a master bedroom and a second bedroom, both with high quality and large double beds. Combined with the fact that the boat is located in a quiet living area away from the tourist masses, you can be assured to enjoy a great night rest.
And last but not least: the large hammam-bathroom, with lovely rustic Moroccan tiles and lights, you will find a large sauna and bath for ultimate relaxation.

How to get there
From Schiphol Airport the easiest and fastest way (25 minutes) is if you come by taxi. The taxis are waiting in front of the airport. Be sure to take an official taxi. It will cost around € 45,-. Or download the Uber app (you will have to give creditcard details), and order the taxi when you have collected your suitcases. Uber is very quick and cost just € 37,- There is free wifi at Schiphol airport.
You can also travel by train. It will take you longer and is a bit more complicated. You buy a ticket at the entrancehall of the airport € 5, - p.p. You take the train to Amsterdam Central Station (6 x per hour). In front of the trainstation is a tourist information (VVV) office. Here you can buy a ticket for the tram. (information: ) Tram 26 goes to my house. The tram (6 x per hour) takes 4 stops to go to the stop "Zuiderzeeweg". You get off at this stop on a crossroad. You pass the P+R parking place and walk over the bridge. You will see our houseboat in the middle of the water. Go down the stairs and follow the instructions you’ve received to open the green gate.

I have been living in the world's most beautiful city for over 25 years now and for 15 years on a houseboat. I am very content with the outdoor space and freedom you get from living on a boat. When we do not need to work we are off travelling as much as we can. In Amsterdam I enjoy strolling on markets and watching al kinds of movies.
