Houseboat summary

Studio with private entrance in our new houseboat ( 2012). The room is 16 m2. It has a own bathroom with toilet, rain shower and sink. Also a mirror and hairdryer. In the room double bed, 160 x 200 cm. or two beds 800 x 200. The bed is a boxspring. There is flatscreen tv, cd player with Ipod dock, airconditining, minibar, safe, fire alarm and free cafe( Nespreso ) and tea. No kitchen. The price is including bedlinnen, towels, all taxes and cleaning.

 In our garden is a nice place to sit.

 Our boat is situated aat the west side of the centre. It a very quiet place but really central. The Jordaan is only 5 minutes walk, Anne Frank house 15 minutes walk. The Hugo de Groot plein ( 5 minutes walk) has some nice bars and restaurants and a nice place for breakfast and lunch.

 Ofcouse there is wifi internet.

 Parking in a inside parking across our boat is possible. ( Payed) We have to rental bikes available.

    We didn't want to go home! But unfortunately it had to. We had a great time in this very pleasant and comfortable room, in addition to being favorably located (10 minutes on foot for the Jordaan, 10 more for the city center!). We will choose the same place if we have the chance to come back to Amsterdam! Let's not forget to mention that Diewert is adorable and will be able to advise you on restaurants and bars if you are lacking in inspiration.

    Very clean and newly decorated houseboat rental

    The house boat is a lovely place, and we really enjoyed staying there. It's a room on the second floor of the boat, with its own bathroom and entrance. A very private space! It's in a very quiet and peaceful residential area 10-15 minutes from central Amsterdam on a bike. It was very clean and newly decorated, and the place was cleaned while we were out during the day!

    Great houseboat, amazing hospitality!

    The place was clean, with a very good bed and excellent shower. The gentle rocking of the house and the birds by the water complimented the floating house experience, heating and Air condition working perfectly. Location was good in a quiet neighborhood with lots of transportation options to the major parts of the city. But the best was Diewert. On our second day my wife suffered an accident and broke her ankle. This completly destroyed our holidays. However Diewert was very helpful and accomodating: told me where to find open drugstores, got some extra info from the hospital that I needed for my insurance, helped us order some food since my wife couldn't walk around, lent me his bike so I could run some errands, booked our taxi when I found a flight back home, among many other smal things. This attitude helped smooth the situation we found ourselves in. We hope to go back to Amsterdam and experience the city properly with no accidents. Hopefully Diewert will be a part of that experience once again.
