Be welcome aboard our completely new houseboat on the Amstel River, wonderfully located near the famous Carré Theatre.  We offer two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath, and a living room in the wheelhouse with 360 degrees view over the river and a big kitchen.

We warmly welcome you aboard to share our floating dream come true. This two bedroom houseboat offers a huge amount of luxury and atmosphere thanks to the recent renovation. While located in the middle of Amsterdam city centre on the Amstel River, she offers everything you might expect from a high-end apartment on dry land. Be assured that you will be comfortably warm even during the coldest winter days, thanks to a very convenient central heating. 

There are two charming bedrooms, each with a comfortable high-end double bed and one single bed. The wooden timber gives a warm and nautical atmosphere. And the location, well, it just could not be any better to be honest. Right in the city centre, close to lots of major points of interest. The Waterloo Square, Rembrandt Square and countless bars and restaurants are all within walking distance.

    Love to stay here, hate to leave it

    We had the most wonderful time aboard the Carré Houseboat. The location is just perfect and super central. We were one of the first guests after the boat was renovated and we could really sense the love that was put into it. Perfect for couples traveling together, and who want to have a unique houseboat experience in Amsterdam. Thanks for having us - we hope to return soon. With love from Paris - xxx

    We had a fabulous Easter weekend on this boat.  We’d deliberately tried to find a boat that was in a relatively quiet location but still central and indeed that turned out to be the case.  Minutes from the nearest metro.  The boat is very comfortable - we really enjoyed having dinner overlooking the Amstel with a glass of wine on the deck.  We shall miss this haven immensely!  Thank you Arthur.

    Houseboat for Christmas

    Beautiful boat, modern, clean and really well presented. Having a kitchen was wonderful (a family of 5) and made the stay easy. The boat is right near the tram line and the Metro rail so it was very easy to get around the city. I would highly recommend Arthur (who made it clear he was available if there was any issues) and his sensational houseboat.

    Most wonderful houseboat on superb location

    We stayed at the Carre Houseboat and could not have picked a better place. The location is just superb, right in the middle of town on the river Amstel. The boat is very clean and convenient, decorated with eye for detail. We hope to be back here one day - so long my friend!

    10/10 Trip that we will remember forever

    My family and I stayed at Arthur’s beautiful houseboat during our trip to Amsterdam. The boat far exceed all of our already high expectations! Arthur was an incredible host who left very detailed instructions and was always available via text. The location of the boat could not be better for a visit to Amsterdam and it was impeccably clean. I already miss living on Arthur’s houseboat and will remember this trip for the rest of my life!

    Staying on a houseboat is a really cool experience for us. We visited Amsterdam several times and always love to come back here. We never rented a houseboat however, and doing so was a unique experience. The boat is very convenient (recently renovated, very stylish!) and the location could not be better. You're staying in the city centre right on the famous Amstel River. Lots of restaurants nearby and a really cool atmosphere. Thanks for having us, we'll tell our friends about you for sure!

    Great location and it fit 5 people well. Great way to spend time in a city full of canals. Easy to find and close to public transport so you can move around the city.
