White Paradise - large family houseboat with terrace

Paul's houseboat is spacious, bright and modern, with plenty of space for everyone. But above all with a large terrace, where you can sit comfortably in the evening, almost as a conclusion to a colorful Amsterdam program, view of the city and the setting sun, close to the metro with fast connections in all directions. We were missing nothing, a small problem (fall protection for children on the stairs) was quickly addressed by Irene and her husband. Outstanding hosts, to be recommended at any time. We spent three nights on the houseboat with two adults and two teenagers. For many reasons it was a perfect location for us.

There is plenty of space, on the upper deck a large living room, a very well equipped kitchen and a bedroom, on the lower deck another bedroom, a bath with a lovely kids bedroom.

The large terrace is overlooking the broad Amstel river which gives you more "privacy" compared to houseboats in a small canal. We enjoyed the evenings sitting there and watching all the boats passing by.

The houseboat located in Amsterdams very nice De Pijp district where you can easily find lot's of nice restaurants and cafes. Supermarket and metro station to the city center are also nearby.

Parking in the district quite expensive, so it's recommended to park in one of the car parks nearby (we parked at Switchpark Eenhoorn).

We were so glad that how wonderful this house was. Nice, clean and very convenience. It is right on the water looking out to the river, so if you happen to have a rainy day, staying at home is also good with a very nice view of the river from the living room. Walking distance to supermarket in case if you need something, and many restaurants around the the neighborhood for your evening strolling. Full kitchen with everything you need for your family, and the owner is very generous, they even have coffee, sugar, and cream for your morning, and all kind of spices just in case if you feel like cooking.

This houseboat, with its full kitchen, beautiful deck, relaxing living room, spacious bedrooms, and large bathroom was fantastic for our family. When you add the quiet and completely convenient neighborhood on a sunny canal, we found this home to be ideal.

Just stayed on this house boat. The location is fantastic & a lovely way to stay in Amsterdam rather than a hotel. While the house was very well equipped, some of the furniture was a little worn & needed maintenance. We also didn't like the amount of personal items still in drawers around the house- it did feel a little like snooping in someones house. Small observations/ quibbles but overall a great stay.

Loved the houseboat, specially the terrace!! 

We had a wonderful stay on the houseboat! The owners were very, very nice and accommodating.

The boat is just great as in the pictures and you are fast in the city center!

That was certainly not the last time on this houseboat, we'll be back!
