If you choose to stay in the Mariner's room, you will sleep in a double cabin as sailors used to do. The room is decorated in a "1920s" spirit and has a pretty decorative fireplace. Finally, the icing on the cake: on the deck, you will find a swimming pool! Perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing in Avignon, isn't it?

The barge is moored at the island of Barthelasse, a quiet and off-center part of Avignon although close to the city center. Avignon is a place of grandiloquence: the city has many monuments classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. The Pont d'Avignon, the Palace of the Popes, the cobbled streets are unmissable places that must be seen to understand the medieval atmosphere of the city. In addition, every year the city hosts a famous theater festival in the month of July.

    Wonderful! Show original

The unusual side of sleeping on a barge on the Rhône, so close to the center of Avignon, the swimming pool and deckchairs on the deck, the feeling of being at home, the hearty breakfast and for all tastes, the Home.

    A formidable barge Show original

We appreciated the kindness of the person who received us, we liked the scenery and nature. Everything was for us a plunge into the past and what we had come to seek. Hearty breakfast, taken on the deck of the barge (a luxury in this season) with the possibility of turning on a heater. Everything is well thought out.

Passionate owner, perfect houseboat, copious breakfast

The owner is a very sympathetic man who knows his houseboat’ story very well and is very passionate about it. The houseboat is very well equipped, perfect for relaxing. Exceptional and copious breakfast. We only had one regret: not being able to stay longer… because of our schedule, what a shame!

We will go back Show original

If you are looking for nature at the gates of Avignon, you have come to the right place. The city is close by, and not negligible, free parking is located halfway between the Péniche and the Pont d'Avignon. The Captain's cabin, large, perfect. Gargantuan breakfasts! Very friendly welcome. Good advice given. We will be going back.

Great houseboat with swimming pool - super cool!

We spent 4 nights on the houseboat 'Lovely Avignon - Marinier Room' et we were very satisfied. The swimming pool and the terrace were great. The boat is located near the Pont d’Avignon. Perfect bed. But the cherry on the cake was the breakfast. Copious and delicious. We highly recommend this place to everyone!
