The so called 'Kettuvallams' have an open air living room and a kitchen with everything you can wish for during your wonderful trip. All houseboats of the Goldstar range have 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms and are comfortably furnished with very attractive finishing, close to the original style these boats were built in. 

Your captain will anchor the boat just before sunset so you can watch the sun going down, the end of another beautiful day. And with clear skies you'll be able to see very bright stars covering the night since there's not much human settlements around. Just turn of the light, sip your drink with your beloved and enjoy the Kerala night sky from a unique point of view.

    Calming and wonderful experience

    The stay was a very calming and wonderful experience due to the efficient and pleasant staff. I can advice this houseboat rental to anyone who is looking for a great way to enjoy the nature and beauty of Kerala. The silence and beautiful views of the backwaters is something I will not forget easily. As far as I'm concerned: a must see!

    Superb houseboat and fantastic staff

    We stayed here in December 2014 and had a great time. The staff was very professional and attentive, and the boat was clean with great food. Another great thing is that the boats have air conditioned rooms and a fantastic upper deck. Floating along the great backwaters and enjoying beer and wine was wonderful. I absolutely recommend doing this trip with this Kerala houseboat - you don't need to concern about anything and the whole stay was very professional. Loved it! Andrew

    Amazing trip thanks to staff, superb food and everything else

    I can only say that the whole trip was absolutely amazing. Thanks to the 3 man crew who took personal interest in making the journey unforgettable. Loved the food, with outstanding vegetarian dishes and unique meat and fish dishes. Our children loved the fishing, meals, sights and every thing else this Kerala houseboat rental had to offer. Not to mention the comfortable air conditioned rooms and hot water bath. Truly amazing!

    It's not easy to choose the right houseboat company, but I can absolutely recommend the Floating Luxury Houseboat. We have hired this boat two times for the last two years and both trips were truly fantastic. The last time I was with my husband and the first time I rented the house boat with my girlfriends. The houseboat rental in Kerala was very clean and the staff is absolutely 5-star worhy. The cooking is great, the staff is friendly and they respect our privacy. Would recommend the place for sure to anyone who wants to discover the Kerala backwaters with a houseboat.
