Houseboat description

This 57 foot narrowboat, with electric heating and a wood burner is a comfortable romantic retreat in Central London, that is cosy even in the middle of winter. It's within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pubs of Islington.

Relax in the wood panelled interior after a long day exploring London. Enjoy taking breakfast on the deck, people watching and feeding the ducks & swans.  
 
Description
Enter via the front, three short steps take you into the wood-panelled main room with wood burner, high quality double sofa bed, dining table and kitchen. The fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob and oven, plus a small fridge and plenty of kitchen pans, utensils etc if you wish to cook on board.

Via a short corridor is the bathroom, with shower, sink and compost toilet. Then at the stern is a double bedroom with queen size bed and large windows that look out onto the water.

The boat is connected to the main electricity network. 
Bella - Narrowboat in Central London is a narrowboat but she is spacious enough to accommodate 4 people.

The boat is on a quiet mooring, so no parties or loud noise, thank you.
 
Location
The location is safe and secure. It’s on a private mooring accessible only by a locked metal gate. The public canal path is on the opposite side. The Narrowboat pub with excellent food and drinks is a few steps away.
Islington High Street is a 5 minute walk away.
Angel Tube station is a 10 minute walk.

    A Unique Perspective on London

    Our recent experience on the Bella narrowboat was everything we had hoped: a secure, convenient and fun location within walking distance from restaurants, bars, shops, and transportation; a kind and responsive host; comfortable furnishings; and plenty of niceties. It was lovely sipping our morning coffee on the deck while watching passersby on the towpath and coots building their nests nearby. I can't imagine another way to be surrounded by nature in a giant metropolis! Thanks to Glenn for a wonderful stay in London!

    Dream boat

    I’ve always wondered what narrowboat life might be like, and I finally got the chance! Glenn’s boat is in an excellent location in London, has great amenities on board, and is thoughtfully designed with elegant touches. The wood stove was useful during cool spring nights. I love every minute on the boat!

    Fab stay on Bella

    We had a great 3-night stay on Bella. The boat was really comfortable and we had great communication from Glenn. The location was fantastic, easy to get to shops, lovely bar/cafe on the opposite towpath, and very easy walk to Angel tube station. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

    An excellent location, really cosy, yet spacious boat. And an amazing breakfast place near the lock. I had a wonderful stay. Great communication too, with my host.
