Houseboat description

This 57 foot narrowboat, with electric heating and a wood burner is a comfortable romantic retreat in Central London, that is cosy even in the middle of winter. It's within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pubs of Islington.

Relax in the wood panelled interior after a long day exploring London. Enjoy taking breakfast on the deck, people watching and feeding the ducks & swans.  
 
Description
Enter via the front, three short steps take you into the wood-panelled main room with wood burner, high quality double sofa bed, dining table and kitchen. The fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob and oven, plus a small fridge and plenty of kitchen pans, utensils etc if you wish to cook on board.

Via a short corridor is the bathroom, with shower, sink and compost toilet. Then at the stern is a double bedroom with queen size bed and large windows that look out onto the water.

The boat is connected to the main electricity network. 
Bella - Narrowboat in Central London is a narrowboat but she is spacious enough to accommodate 4 people.

The boat is on a quiet mooring, so no parties or loud noise, thank you.
 
Location
The location is safe and secure. It’s on a private mooring accessible only by a locked metal gate. The public canal path is on the opposite side. The Narrowboat pub with excellent food and drinks is a few steps away.
Islington High Street is a 5 minute walk away.
Angel Tube station is a 10 minute walk.

    Two days in Bella…

    Our stay was different… some nice, some not so nice! We felt the owner had not made a space for us… all his things and food took up all the space… were left everywhere… The whole place could have done with a really good clean, I’m afraid. But it was cosy and quirky.

    Very cosy stay at the beautiful canal

    I stayed at the Bella for 2 nights with my sister. Even though it was so cold the canals were freezing, we could get it warm by lighting a good fire. In the morning it is beautiful to wake up and have a nice walk along the canal in the direction of Shoreditch. The Angel subway station is very close by, and from there the subway brings you quickly into the city center of London. We truly enjoyed our stay and it felt like a little home. Would definitely recommend and I think it is even better in the summer when you can enjoy sitting on deck!

    Fab stay on Bella

    We had a great 3-night stay on Bella. The boat was really comfortable and we had great communication from Glenn. The location was fantastic, easy to get to shops, lovely bar/cafe on the opposite towpath, and very easy walk to Angel tube station. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

    We had a fantastic two nights on board Bella. It was spacious, clean and as newcomers all the instructions were very easy to follow. The area is great as well!
