The houseboat is rented including 2 cats on board. You do not have to take this into account. They can go in and out and have plenty of food.
Explore your stay
The living room is cosily furnished with a sofa and a large armchair. And a working wood stove. There are several rugs on the floor and with the floor cushions you can also sit there comfortably.
Fully equipped kitchen, fully equipped (6-burner stove, oven, microwave, espresso machine, large refrigerator, dishwasher). There is also a washing machine and a dryer on the boat.
From the kitchen you can take a staircase to the spacious deck (5 x 8 m), where you can eat in the shade under the roof. You can also sunbathe there and enjoy the aquatic life around it.
3 bedrooms (2 with a double bed and 1 with a French bed), 2 bathrooms (including 1 en-suite with bath) and 2 toilets.
You can jump into the water from the boat and climb out again via a staircase on the jetty.
There are 2 cats that can walk in and out themselves.
Bus and tram within walking distance. Shopping center with all kinds of shops around the corner. And a few nice restaurants nearby.
In short, a wonderful place to explore Amsterdam and relax at the same time.

How to get there
By bus from Amsterdam CS in 10 minutes and then another 5 minutes walk.
About the area
It is a mixed neighborhood with old and new buildings. It used to be a cargo port with sheds, where houses have now been built. Some warehouses have been converted into homes. There is a lot of water around, which is eagerly used by residents of the neighborhood (swimming, supping, boating), but only small boats pass by. There is a shopping center within walking distance where you can do most of your shopping. There are also a few nice restaurants nearby. There is a bus that is at CS within 10 minutes and a tram that runs to the city center. There is a ferry nearby, which sails to Amsterdam Noord, where there are a few nice restaurants and a cinema.

I am Maria, 48 years old, and have been living on this fantastic boat with my 2 daughters Sam and Lila since August'22. I work as a midwife, where I supervise deliveries both in the hospital and at home. I play the piano and accordion, enjoy walking, going to the movies and cooking. My mother is from Paris, so I go there often. And as a result, I speak fluent French and a little bit of Spanish.
