Modern, recently renovated, skinny bridge houseboat

We stayed on the houseboat from Thursday to Sunday. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a small kitchen, a coffee machine, and a refrigerator. It was beautifully renovated with stylish furniture and comfortable beds. The location was excellent. Air conditioning and heating were also available. The entrance is a bit hidden, but we found it thanks to the pictures :)

Lovely houseboat in a great location. Visited with friends for a gig. Conveniently located near the metro and within walking distance of major sights. It was lovely to sit and have breakfast while watching the boats pass. Great experience. The stairs down to the bedrooms were very steep, as with all stairs in Amsterdam. It may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

I would highly recommend this houseboat. We stayed here as a family of 4 and it had everything we needed for our stay, including aircon, which was excellent during the heatwave. However, the thing I loved most was the location; it really was perfect. It was a beautiful spot; you could sit for hours on the outside seating just watching the world go by. It was also a comfortable walk to all the main tourist sites. I would also say that check-in and check-out were straightforward and we were able to drop our bags off when we arrived early, which was super helpful.

This stay was exactly what we were looking for. It was a super cute and fun start to our Amsterdam trip. The bench was fun to sit on, drink our morning coffee, and watch boat tours go by. It’s located in a super cute neighborhood that’s conveniently located near all of the fun things to do. We didn’t have any issues with spiders, only saw them outside when we were walking onto the boat. It was super clean and such a nice time.

In the neighborhood, there are boat tours you can take. Highly recommend Amsterdam Boat Adventures (family owned and only 12 people on the boat at a time).

The accommodation was in a fantastic central location and offered us a lovely sense of privacy. It was quite an experience to spend the night on an older sailing ship. Bente was easy to reach and took care of all our needs.

Just about adequate for 4 people, as the lower bed is a bit small for 2. It worked out with our 2 children, though. More suitable for 2 or 2 adults and 1 child. Thanks for the experience in Amsterdam.
