About the area

Rest in a dynamic city on the move!

A fine mix of modern architecture, old and modern ships, water, bathing jetties and freedom. You are part of a friendly neighborhood where people still know and greet each other. The connection to the city is excellent and you can immerse yourself in everything Amsterdam has to offer at any time.

The ferry to Hiperdepip Noord is within walking distance and runs every day until 10:20 PM.

Ingrid

We are Ingrid and Henk. Throughout 2022 we have been working on the renovation and conversion of our old sailing cutter Holland. All facilities have been completely renewed, but we have retained the atmosphere and details. We are very proud of the result of our new spot in Amsterdam and would like to welcome you.

Our ship is located in a fantastic spot near the IJ at the Levantkade (KNSM-island). Wonderfully quiet with beautiful views over Amsterdam. Yet within 10 minutes in the old city center.

Thank you to Ingrid for the warm welcome, helpful advice, and availability. The boat is very well-equipped, and our cabin was spotless. A calm and relaxing place on the water with easy access to the city center via a regular bus. Thank you again for this enjoyable stay. Laurence, Dahmane, and Ines

    All was perfect...

Ingrid is so friendly and kind! The boat is beautiful, more or less photos! The bed is very comfortable, and you will find peace and rest here. Tramway number 7 is very useful for visits. The best place to be!

    Very comfortable accommodationShow original

We were guests on the Holland with Ingrid and Henk in mid-April 2025. Ingrid had already given us lots of tips beforehand and responded quickly to questions. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet her in person, as she wasn't home at the time of our stay. But Henk gave us a warm welcome. He showed us our accommodations, and since I was very interested in life on the boat, he even let me see his personal space. I thought that was very nice. Thank you for that, Henk. And the boat itself, what can I say? Absolutely lovingly made. Very, very comfortable. The steep stairs and the bed on the gallery are probably a hindrance for people with walking difficulties. For everyone else, it's absolutely lovely and cozy. We felt completely at home. If we come to Amsterdam again, we'd love to stay on the Holland again. Best wishes to Henk and Ingrid. Alex and Silvi

Beautiful houseboat with super nice hostsShow original

We spent a wonderful "Three Sisters Weekend" on Ingrid and Henk's houseboat! The two are super friendly and open and gave us excellent tips for our stay! The small apartment below deck is beautifully furnished, and the couple made great design decisions when renovating their houseboat. Everything was very well-maintained and clean. Only the third bed is very, very narrow and therefore well-suited for a child, but perhaps not so ideal for an adult. Thank you again for your particularly warm and uncomplicated hospitality! The Three Sisters 😀
