B&B Houseboat Amsterdam

Our stay was perfect, and Lianne was there for us the entire time, providing a fridge stocked to the brim every day, filled according to our preferences with a mix of homemade and Dutch treats. Even minor issues, such as a Wi-Fi outage, were resolved immediately. We always felt welcome and would highly recommend this host. For those who find access to the boat difficult, I would suggest traveling light or asking for assistance, I am sure the host family will find a solution. Upon departure, we were even allowed to store our suitcases temporarily, as we had an evening flight. Perfect stay, perfect days! Thanks so much, and lots of love from Lisa and Laura.

First, I will say, be prepared for the narrow walkway and stairs you must traverse to get to the room. We weren't ready for this, and getting our luggage inside was a big chore. We also made use of the pull out beds, but they were so uncomfortable that we ended up using the couch instead. We also had problems with the toilet, as boat plumbing seems to be finicky. With those problems noted, why am I still giving 5 stars? Because the hosting was ASTOUNDING. Lianne was quick to respond, and when the issue with the toilet arose, she was so quick to act and help us out. She plied us with snacks and helped us experience the nightlife. She was friendly and everything you need in a host. We stayed in about five different places during our time in the Netherlands, and this was by far the best service. Our only regret was that we didn't spend more time here. The accommodation itself is clean and trendy, and the sauna was lovely. If you're looking for a houseboat experience, my whole family agrees that you have to give this one a try!

This was such a unique and beautiful place to stay. Lianne is an incredibly gracious host that was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again in the future!

What a beautiful boat. There is everything you need on board. Fresh and clean. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast is included and was 10/10. I would definitely recommend a trip here.

All in all, a successful stay. Perfect location for exploring Amsterdam, close to trams and buses. Wonderful views. The photos in the advertisement accurately reflect reality. As a family (2 adults, 2 children (11 and 14)), we had plenty of space. Despite the April weather, we enjoyed many a cozy evening watching movies from our beds. A word of caution: access can be a bit difficult with large suitcases, and you shouldn't have any physical limitations. It is, after all, a ship.
