Forecastle KL

This was the perfect stay for a couple visiting Amsterdam for the first time. It was exactly like the description and pictures, and very clean and new. Sofie was a wonderful host; let us check in early and went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. I still can't believe we found such a great place at this price, I highly recommend it.

Great time! Smooth check-in experience and welcome by hosts Sofie and Arnold. The accommodation is very comfortable and has all you need for a relaxing stay. The location is very well-connected by public transport (or bicycle!) to the city or main train stations. The neighborhood itself is also fun to explore. Beautiful views from the deck of the ship, can even go for a refreshing swim or just sit and enjoy. Would come back for sure!

Sofie is a great host and all-round lovely person. The boat itself is very pretty, and the space is perfect for a quiet, chilled stay in Amsterdam. Once you've visited the city a couple of times, you likely want a place just like this to explore and enjoy the more scenic areas of the city. The area is nicely out of the way from Centraal, but still very reachable. The tram is just a short walk away, or you can ride in and out of the city on bikes easily. Right by the boat is a really nice cafe/restaurant, as well as a great bakery and other local shops. There's an Albert Hein (grocery store) just a short walk away. Overall, it's great to leave the busy city at the end of the day and come back to such a peaceful and nice place to rest. We had no issues and would easily come back to stay here again!
