Hello! We are Renske and Tim, and we would like to welcome you. Our cozy and modern B&B located on our houseboat, Kadans (Cadance). Situated on the quiet KNSM island on the Levantkade, our house offers the unique experience of staying on the water, while still being close to the vibrant heart of Amsterdam.

Our private boat suite on houseboat Kadans is designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. You will find everything you need for a perfect stay in Amsterdam. This includes a comfortable king size bed, a private bathroom and a cozy sitting area to unwind after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights is your own private terrace on the deck, where you can quietly enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sun or a drink at sunset, with beautiful views of the waterfront.

We created Bed & Boat as a special place to share our love of life on the water, and we are excited to welcome guests who want to experience something different during their stay in Amsterdam. Whether you are here to explore the city’s rich history, shop in the quaint streets around the canals or simply relax and enjoy the view, we will make sure your stay is unforgettable.

By plane/train: We recommend taking the train to Amsterdam Central Station. Walk to the bus deck north of the station and take bus 48 towards Borneo Eiland on platform C. Get off at Azartplein (5th stop) and walk 5 meters (400m) east along the Levantkade.

By car: we recommend dropping off your bags first and then parking cheaply at Park and Ride Zeeburg. Of course we will give you more detailed information once you have booked.

At Bed & Boat you will find the best of both worlds. Our 40-meter houseboat Kadans is moored on KNSM Island, in Amsterdam East. This quiet and modern area feels like a peaceful retreat, yet is only minutes away from the bustling heart of Amsterdam. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of the water, away from the noise and crowds, while still having easy access to everything the city has to offer.

The KNSM Island is known for its unique architecture and creative atmosphere, making it a perfect base for those looking to explore the cultural side of Amsterdam. The island itself has nice local cafes, restaurants and some shops.

You’re just a short tram or bike ride away from the city centre with its lovely shopping streets like De Negen Straatjes and iconic attractions like the Anne Frank House and the Museum Quarter with the Van Gogh Museum. Plus, you can take the nearby ferry across the IJ to Amsterdam Noord, a trendy neighbourhood full of street art, markets and restaurants to tantalise your taste buds.
