The houseboat is furnished in a super cozy style, perfect for families with children, seniors, business people, or friends. You will feel right at home immediately, because everything you need is provided in your own private houseboat: a private entrance, a lovely living room, a snug bedroom, an extra double bed on the raised platform in the living room/dining area, a private kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso machine, stovetop, and even your own covered terrace to enjoy sitting outside.

The houseboat is located in the trendy Oud-West district, close to Museumplein, the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the MOCO, and the Stedelijk Museum. The Jordaan, Leidseplein, and the Food Hallen are also within walking distance. So you are truly close to vibrant city life, yet wonderfully quiet by the water in a local neighborhood. Everything is easily accessible, whether you want to shop, go out for dinner, or simply enjoy Amsterdam life.

Perfect for

Whole Houseboat close to Vondelpark + Museumsquare is ideal for a small family, a couple on a cruise in the Port of Amsterdam, a romantic getaway, or for business. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed (190 x 130, perfect for children or adults of average height), and in the living room there is another comfortable queen-size double bed (200 x 140). A travel cot and high chair are available upon request. Please be mindful of the water: children must not disappear from sight. Stepping onto the perimeter railing outside the houseboat is at your own risk. The Wi-Fi connection is exceptionally strong.

Full amenities

You have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, small dishwasher, and Nespresso machine. There is also a washing machine available for free use. The living room features a TV, Chromecast, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a nice shower and toilet. Towels and bed linen are included per stay. Outside on the covered private terrace, you can enjoy breakfast in the sun or a drink by the water.

The entire houseboat is private, so you do not have to share anything with others or with us. Everything is clean and tidy. Because we only rent for 30 days to non-smoking guests, we keep our interior completely smoke-free. During your stay, we ensure that our personal belongings are stored away as much as possible. There is an outdoor security camera for extra safety, and the houseboat is equipped with various smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

Our 4 house rules are strict: no parties, no pets, absolutely no smoking or drugs, and a maximum of 4 guests. Our daughter has asthma, so we only host absolute non-smokers in our home. No exceptions are possible.

Close to the old city center, yet everything is within walking or cycling distance. Bicycle, boat, and car rentals are all within walking distance.

The water villa has only one ground floor. The entrance at the front door and the step up to the bed have a few steps. So this is very suitable for the elderly!
