Beagle Houseboat

I will start by saying not the sort to review a place but this place was so amazing I think it will be selfish of me not to let everyone know about this gem of a boat. 

So the booking was easy and before we went was very easy to speak to the owner about arrival times etc.

When we arrived, the guy was there to greet us and get us all booked in. He explained everything in detail about the boat and its history. Which was interesting. 

The stay overall was really good the boat was clean and tidy with everything we needed. The views morning day and night were spectacular. Being our first time on a boat was an excellent experience overall and will definitely be booking this again in the future. Have stayed many places in Amsterdam by far the best all-round place to stay to top it off you can smoke on there. I would like to say for a place you can smoke in it did not smell of smoke at all when we arrived.

The stay on the boat completely met my expectations, so I spent a great week there. Absolutely central location and yet completely quiet, the pictures of the boat reflect the flair perfectly. Kitchen utensils for preparing small dishes are available. Aart is a good host who always responded to questions at very short notice. I therefore recommend this accommodation.

We hit Amsterdam with three friends and stayed at this amazing cow ferry (never knew such a thing existed). The space is large and bright thanks to all the windows. Not only do they let in lots of light, but it also gives a great panoramic view over the harbor that we grew fond during our visit. The location is just so amazing: close to central station, red light district, Dam Square, the Nieuwmarkt and last but not least the Zeedijk: superb asian food and lovely bars for wining and dining. 

The houseboat offers a very special and relaxed atmosphere, so different from any other place we ever stayed. So if you are looking for a unique houseboat holiday in Amsterdam, I can really recommend this one!

I can't say enough good thing about Aart and his Houseboat. Check in and Check out were easy and pleasurable. The Houseboat is perfectly located for exploration of Amsterdam while still being located in a quite area for a good nights sleep. Very comfortable and roomy for Amsterdam accommodation and a great place to hang out and watch the boats go by. Aart you have done it right, I look forward to returning soon! Thank you!

Nice big enough boat for our little family (3). The host was super friendly and helpful. Perfectly placed close to everything. Price was good.
