The houseboat is really gorgeous. It is equipped with everything you need and is in a perfect location. Very central but still quiet. Sitting by the open window overlooking the canal and the passing boats was fascinating and relaxing. I would book it again anytime.

We, a couple from Berlin (55 and 56) have already made many city trips, but we have not yet had accommodation, such as with Mariela and her husband. A perfect houseboat apartment, small, super cozy, but with a wonderful view. The houseboat is super centrally located on the Oudeschans in front of a 5 star luxury hotel and you can see great canal houses from your bed. At the same time, the canal is wide enough so that the passing boats have a comfortable distance.

In the evening, with the large casement windows open, it is just wonderful to sit there and look. Happy with a glass of wine. We explored Amsterdam on foot, which works very well because the houseboat is centrally located. You can go shopping just around the corner in case the cold wine runs out. The interior is completely new, we were the second guests! Many thanks for the beautiful days Bettina and Thomas. We can only recommend the boat! PS: Especially under the adverse corona conditions in Amsterdam (as everywhere) it is great to be able to live so separated and yet in the middle of it.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our 2-day stay in Maria’s cozy Amsterdam houseboat. The apartment is thoughtfully laid out to make good use of all available space. Maria was a helpful, accommodating host who met us at the houseboat and gave us some good recommendations on where to shop and eat in the neighborhood. We loved being in the houseboat and greatly enjoyed its views of the canal and passing boats. We highly recommend it!

The houseboat is centrally located in a beautiful canal, it is very quiet. The small apartment is very cozy and bright and equipped with every comfort. If we are in Amsterdam again, we will definitely come back to this houseboat!

We enjoyed our first houseboat experience so much. It was significantly better to be in the heart of the city while exploring rather than staying in a typical hotel.
