Welcome to your stay
Our houseboat is situated on a marvelous spot in the the Amstel River. If you are looking for a relative quite place to stay but still like to be close to everything this is the place to be.
The apartment offers great views and more than enough space since the entire space is about 60m2. You will have your own outside deck to relax at and enjoy the Amstel river and for those guests who are in for a bit more adventure we have sup boards for rent and also provide little stairs on the deck to make it possible to have a swim as well.
The vibrant Albert Cuyp Market is only 10 minutes by bike away, which is located in the truly authentic and never dull neighborhood called 'the Pijp'.

How to get there
Public transport:
The RAI metro as well as the train station is only a 5 minute walk away. This station is about 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central Station.
By car:
Take the exit S110 'Rivierenbuurt' to get to the boat. Our neighborhood has ample parking space but it is paid from 9AM until 9PM at 4,50 Euro per hour. There are Park & Ride areas as well as parking spaces which you can book in front which are not so expensive.
About the area
The Rivierenbuurt is a great area to live at in Amsterdam. So you will quickly feel like a local. Many expats, families and elderly people live here. So there is something to find for every need.
The Martin Luther Kingpark across our boat is a great place to meet people. Many of the locals like to hang out there during summer days to have a picknick. In the park is a nice restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner.
The supermarket, drugstore and other shops can be found at the Rijnstraat and Maasstraat which are only a 5 minute walk away.

We are a family of four. We enjoy living on our houseboat so much we had the idea of sharing this great place with our guests.
We have 2 little girls of 8 and 9 years old and a sweet Labradoodle named Haggis.
