This wonderful houseboat studio is located on a marvelous part of the River Amstel. Close to Amstel Station, so very easy to reach, and with great public transport connections around the corner. Some more good reasons to stay with us: wonderful views over the river, full privacy, charming interior, great terrace and last but not least our famous breakfast. Perfect for couples who are looking for something special!

Explore your stay

The studio has a large sliding window that can be opened to reach the terrace. From here you will experience something quite unique in Amsterdam: the sense of space and tranquility. This is one of the reasons why we love it so much to live here. Sit back and relax while water birds swim by and the city slowly awakens while you enjoy a first cup of coffee. A great way to start another day in our beloved city.

In the studio you will find a bathroom, and a large and very comfortable double bed, from where you can also enjoy the waterfront views. The round portholes give just that little extra nautical feeling to the place. Furthermore you will find a lot of red in the studio, the color of love and liveliness. Aboard we offer free wifi and a large flatscreen cable tv.

We believe in a personal approach, and we show this in a personal touch both on arrival and through your stay. Let us know if you have any questions - always there to help.

About the neighborhood: this southern part of the Amstel has a good connection with the inner city, as well as the green backlands of Amsterdam. We highly recommend to take a nice walk along the mighty Amstel! Furthermore you will find the famous Albert Cuyp Market within walking distance, located in the lively Pijp Area.

Our guests especially appreciate the option to book a ride with our boat on request - this is without a doubt an experience in itself. The best way to discover Amsterdam. Breakfast can be ordered separately.

And last but not least: you can park your car on our private parking space, free of charge. Please let us know if you want to use the parking in advance.

Fantastic Location
It was a fantastic stay in the houseboat. The family is very very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable and the little terrace is wonderful. There was nothing wrong with us and we can highly recommend it. Thank you for the great time! =)

You can only feel good in this wonderful houseboat. The extremely hospitable landlords, Ellen and Fred, ensure that nothing is left to be desired. You wake up and look out over the water. You cannot see inside from the outside, as an opaque film seals the entire window front. There is a refrigerator filled with common drinks, a kettle, a coffee machine and all the accessories you need to have coffee or tea in the morning. On request, you can also get an opulent breakfast with everything your stomach and heart desires and can enjoy it directly on the houseboat terrace. An awning protects against sun or rain. The beds are ultra comfortable. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need. Even cotton pads and ear swabs! I went on a private boat tour with Fred all over Amsterdam and he told me a lot of interesting things. You get into the boat directly from the houseboat terrace! Wonderful! I felt very well! All important sights can be reached in a short time by bike. Many thanks to the two lovely hosts Ellen and Fred! And also for the small gift! I would love to come back!

Super nice and comfortable houseboat
We have stayed here with great pleasure and grew very fond of both the boat and the area. It is located in Amsterdam East and although we did not know this part of Amsterdam, we decided to give it a chance. And we're glad we did. The canal is nice and quiet so no loud tourist masses passing by. We really enjoyed the luxurious interior - it is just like a home but then with swans and ducks passing by. I'll never forget the reflection of the water dancing on the ceiling while enjoying our time together. Very special and highly recommended!
