Amazing Waterfront Studio on the Amstel

We had a wanderful time at the houseboat of Ellen and Fred. The Room was big and clean. We also enjoyed the view by the water.

You can only feel good in this wonderful houseboat. The extremely hospitable landlords, Ellen and Fred, ensure that nothing is left to be desired. You wake up and look out over the water. You cannot see inside from the outside, as an opaque film seals the entire window front. There is a refrigerator filled with common drinks, a kettle, a coffee machine and all the accessories you need to have coffee or tea in the morning. On request, you can also get an opulent breakfast with everything your stomach and heart desires and can enjoy it directly on the houseboat terrace. An awning protects against sun or rain. The beds are ultra comfortable. The bathroom is equipped with everything you need. Even cotton pads and ear swabs! I went on a private boat tour with Fred all over Amsterdam and he told me a lot of interesting things. You get into the boat directly from the houseboat terrace! Wonderful! I felt very well! All important sights can be reached in a short time by bike. Many thanks to the two lovely hosts Ellen and Fred! And also for the small gift! I would love to come back!

We had a wonderful few days with Ellen and Fred. We were provided with a fantastic breakfast every morning by Fred. Every day a different juice, an egg in a different shape, something delicious with the coffee, a yogurt in different variations. Slept wonderfully and peacefully, with the rowing club passing by when waking up and which we could enjoy from our terrace. We had wonderful days, explored Amsterdam again and this is a great base. To walk to the center and in the evening and night not bothered by the crowds. We would love to come back!

Staying on this houseboat was a dream come true for my fiancé and I. The decor and view were stunning, and the hosts made us feel like we were family. I only wish we asked for breakfast for our entire stay rather than just the last day - it was better then we could have asked for. The bar has been set pretty high for our future vacation plans! 

Ellen is wonderful and very consider host. Her hospitality and kindness made us feel like we were staying with a good friend but giving us privacy to enjoy our vacation! The location and room is perfect as we saw in photos. Away from the tourist crowd but easy to get to central by tram.
