How to get there

If you are traveling by car, you can simply park your car along the dike.

From Schiphol or Central Station you can take a tax or Uber, both taking 20 - 30 minutes depending on traffic.

If you travel by public transport, it takes about 55 minutes to reach us from Schiphol Airport and 30 minutes from Central Station.

About the area

Durgerdam is a former rural village, now part of Amsterdam, and known for the typical long stretched form with houses and houseboats dotted around the dike. Unlike the rest of Amsterdam, you won't find tourist masses passing by. Instead you will enjoy a world of tranquility and wide views over the water.

We particularly like the clouds passing by and the surface of the water, creating an ever changing scenery that never bores. On the other side of the dike you can enjoy the green fields that The Netherlands are known for.
