About the area
We live in a quiet part of town. Wide water, close to city center. The view of Hollands largest wooden windmill and amongst our neighbors is Amsterdam's most popular brewery "het IJ", a daily market (Dappermarkt) and the Artis Zoo.
There are also many ethnic shops and ' hip' restaurants& gin & tonic bars nearby. "Indische Buurt" which is known for it's turkish and maroccan markets and shops.
Tropenmuseum , Verzetsmuseum & Scheepvaart museum, Botanic garden
The nights are quiet here and when you are having your morning coffee/breakfast, you might get unexpected visits from a local swan family or a flock of ducks looking for some hand-outs.
Ahoy, we are Bop & Eef, the open minded crew on the Motor Vessel Ship ' Moed Overwint Alles'. We have a little boy called Sil Sailor.
Bop is the captain of this ship since 2008.
He puts lots of time, energy and love in his ship and rebuilt it with his own hands into a modern, luxurious houseboat with authentic details. We love to share our experience of living the good life on the water with you.
Bop is a photographer and Eef is a teacher former stewardess. We both travelled a lot and made many friends all over the world who often come to visit. So we are used to having guests and sharing.
We know Amsterdam and we love to give you tips about where to go and what to do when you visit Hollands capital.
We are looking forward to welcome you on board.

Fantastic! Show original
It was a dream to stay here, we felt like kings and it was amazing to pretend that we really lived here! Wonderful location, quiet in the evenings, cool market nearby and very relaxing. Everything was very clean and perfect for us, if we needed anything we just had to knock. Fantastic hosts, friendly, helpful and down to earth. They made us feel welcome like family but left us space to do our own thing. We jumped off the boat and swam in canal... would recommend, lots of fun!! The bed is EPIC!! We have never slept so good in our lives. Please send details for the mattress... really please send! Best holiday yet!! Thank you

Successful break... Show originalShow original
A houseboat with soul. Furnished with love, very clean and has everything you need. Nice view, quiet and yet central. Thanks to the bicycles on site, every destination could be reached stress-free. We felt very welcome and comfortable. The night was very relaxing, so that in the morning we planned our tour with a lot of energy. In the evening on deck we were able to end the day wonderfully. Thank you for the wonderful days dear Bop and Eveline.

We had a great stay at Bop & Eves place. How can you beat staying on a houseboat in Amsterdam. The location was excellent and we really enjoyed trying out Bops suggestions in the neighborhood.

Lovely and cozy
Our stay on Bop and Eve's boat was so fabulous. We had everything we needed from the get-go and they were so accommodating and kind. The studio was so clean and cozy, so staying in was just as nice as going out. It's so close to everything so if cycling isn't your thing it's so easy to walk everywhere. Thank you both so much for such a lovely stay, we would love to come back again. Anne & Paul xxx
