Houseboat description

The 'Cozy Floating Glamping' is docked next to our own houseboat, a former freight ship, on a wonderful canal with view on the famous windmill. Staying here will certainly contribute to an unforgettable stay in Amsterdam. Enjoy the views and close proximity of lots of Amsterdam popular tourist attractions. Truly paradise!

While being in the quiet Eastern part of Amsterdam city centre, it's just walking distance to many popular destinations. Like the Dappermarket, Artis Zoo, IJ beer brewery, and lots of great bars and restaurants.

You will find many great restaurant in just minutes walking, but if you decide to stay in a night you can use the kitchen to prepare a simple meal too. The kitchen is not huge, but it offers all te required kitchen supplies one can need such as a gas cooker and fridge.

Aboard the boat you will sleep like an angel in the comfortable double bed, ensuring a good nights rest after another great day in town. But the most wonderful part is the moment of waking up. Take a peak through the windows and watch the early water birds swim by while the mist drifts gently over the water. What a way to wake up and get ready to explore the city. The bathroom is small but has all you need; a toilet, sink and (hand) shower. That's why we call it a floating glamping: it's a bit like camping on the water, but then in style!

And one last thing that might interest you: did you know that during the summer period you can swim in our canal - just like many locals do? A wonderful, unique and energizing experience!

Scheefje: Life on the water Show original

It was wonderful! Great sunsets, sunbathing on deck, deep, peaceful sleep after the fun jumble of the city, which we were allowed to explore with the existing bicycles. We were completely satisfied and can only recommend the location! We thank Bop and Eva very much.

Clean, cozy and unique houseboat for two

This is a great place if you are a couple and want to live in a cozy, clean and exciting place in Amsterdam. Bop and Eva are very friendly and helpful people and made our stay even better. We made coffee in the kitchen, took a dive when the sun was out, and the bathroom and bedroom were great too. Our advice: rent this boat in Amsterdam!

    Great days on the boat

The boat is near to the central, but in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with a great chanel view. You have a perfectly private place, small but enough for two people with all of the facilities you need.

Eve and Bop are so kind and friendly, they help in everything. It was a great experience, we definitely recommend it for everyone.

    A great thing

It was really a great experience, just the right thing if you want to experience something special and like to camp. It is small, but perfect for 2 people. Bob and Eve are both really great and open people. The place is very well located, a bit quieter but you are in the city very quickly, with shops and also to have a drink and eat quickly. Was a great vacation and absolutely recommendable.

    Perfect houseboat for two peope

Bop and Eva were the best hosts we have ever had. They gave us good recommendations and were incredibly friendly and generous during our stay. The houseboat is perfect for two people. The location is perfect: you are outside the tourist areas of Amsterdam, so you can escape the crowds and the noise at the end of the day. It also led us to another part of the city that we probably would not have seen otherwise. We can not recommend staying here enough!
