Enjoy Amsterdam like a local and stay at this wonderful floating villa. Although the location is super central, you will be amazed by the laid back atmosphere in our harbor - the oldest in Amsterdam.

The view from the top bedroom is simply amazing and you can really sense the centuries of rich naval history all around you. Our houseboat sleeps 4 in total and offers the level of luxury you would expect of a high-end apartment, but then floating on one of the most amazing spots in Amsterdam!

Explore your stay

The houseboat, just five minutes walking from Central Station, has central heating so you are assured to be comfortably warm all year round. From the boat you will enjoy the harbor views, with many ancient ships docked on one side, and the Maritime Museum and a VOC-ship on the other. 

The rooms are spacious, super clean and tidy. You are our honored guest and hospitality is our middle name. On the boat we offer everything to make your houseboat holiday as relaxed as possible. There is a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meal and the bathroom with large bath is also very convenient.

Within a few minutes walking you will find many point of interest already. Along the harbor you will find the NEMO Science museum (great for kids!), the Maritime Museum and some of the finest places to eat and drink. Think of the super laid back bar/restaurant Hannekes Book and the Sea Palace, a superb floating Chinese restaurant. 

On the city side you will find the red light district juts minutes away, the Nieuwmarkt and lots of historical sights such as the Dam Square and the Jordaan Area. There are just too many things to do and see in our part of town to mention, but you get the idea: you won't be bored.

You will have one part of the boat to yourself completely, so you don't have to share it with anyone. The host lives on the other part of the boat, but we can assure that you won't even notice this. 

Just around the corner there is a good bike rental shop, organizing guided tours as well.

From the Central Station it is just a 5 minute walk to get to our houseboat.

About the area

The Oosterdok is the oldest harbor in town and offers a fine combination of city views and a truly maritime experience. Although the boat is located near a road and close to the many must-sees of Amsterdam, you will enjoy a good night rest. From the boat it is just a few minutes walking to the NEMO Science Museum, Maritime Museum, the red light district and the Nieuwmarkt.

I was a professional sports man for over 20 years after that I decided I didn’t want to do your every day life work. So I started my own houseboat B&B. Together with my dad we are hosting and making sure our guests feel welcome. The boat is always clean and you feel at home away from home. And it’s such a unique experience staying on a houseboat With still all the luxury of an apartment!

    We had a wonderful stay in this houseboat. Everything is clean, modern and cosy. Jeffery had really good communication. The location was unbeatable, so close to the main station. Jeffery really made this house feel like a home

    Convenient location

    We enjoyed our houseboat experience in walkable distance to the main sights in the old town of Amsterdam. Unfortunately the potential views across the water were effectively blocked by a boat moored beside, except from upstairs bedroom. Loved the black and white decor with art prints.

    Wonderful stay!

    The houseboat was perfect! The location was unbelievable - set out just enough to have peace and quiet and also has everything within ten minutes. The boat itself is clean and has everything you need for a few nights. Jeffrey the landlord was great and really easy to communicate with. I would 100% stay again and would happily recommend to anyone wanting a very central stay! Thanks 🙏🏽

    Fabulous Amsterdam Stay

    We stayed as a family with two children here and it was perfect. Our girls were thrilled with the room upstairs and loved the novelty of staying on a boat. The boat is beautifully appointed and we had a fantastic stay. Perfect location to the train and we walked everywhere we visited in Amsterdam. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others, thanks for a wonderful stay.
