Henks' Pink Frontdoor

1. Henk's houseboat is very comfortable for 4 guests. Family with kid(S) only. City rental rules are a for a maximum of 4 guests, baby's will count as a person too. The houseboat will only be rented out for 30 days a year. You will have the entire houseboat to use (only 1 cabinet will be locked with the owners private belongings.) 

STRICT HOUSE RULES:

• No smoking inside and/or in front of the houseboat.
• No drugs inside and/or in front of the houseboat.
• No loud noises. Mind the neighbors.
• No other visitors are allowed to enter, only the family who is registered.

The houseboat is suitable for a family with kids, or retirees. 

This unique houseboat is docked at walking distance from lots of major attractions, restaurants, bars, and shops. Yet is on one of the quietest canals in Amsterdam Old West.

This COMPLETELY NEW big 75 m2 houseboat also has an outside private entry located on the quay. The Front door is Pink! The vintage style furniture is made by famous designers such as Gispen, Pastoe, Hans Wegner etc. The kitchen has new features and is fully equiped to create breakfast and dinner.

One small dog is welcome at the houseboat. But please message us in advance. 

The location is great. Just around the corner, you'll find bar-restaurant DAPPER. Supermarkets, bars, shopping, markets, museums, attractions, parks are all within walking distance. Trams, busses around the corner.

Our taxi service can drive you to/from the airport within 20 minutes.
Airport bus shuttle 397 and night busses at walking distance from the bus station Elandsgracht.
Bikes only available on request for a small fee.

   The houseboat has a hallway entrance, kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet and washing machine, living room with table and chairs, couch, TV. Two Separate bedrooms both with doublebed. Second separate toilet. All brand-new.

We warmly welcome families with children. There is a shared terrace fence in front of the boat, the windows have child locks and cleaning stuff is stored out of reach of children. Furthermore there are lots of toys for the kids to play with.

Note: we consider our boat as child-friendly, but note that you are and always will be responsible for the safety of your kids when staying on a houseboat. Staying on a houseboat simply means that there is always water around you and you have to be careful in every occasion. However this houseboat is a concrete stone box, so inside you don't have to worry at all. Also the entrance to the door is very steady and safe. Hardly any movement aboard too, cause the houseboat is tightly attached to the quai.
