    Fantastic Houseboat Experience!

We planned to go for Amsterdam for a while and I always wanted to stay on a houseboat. Staying with Paul and Robert was the best decision we could have made. They looked very well after us. When we arrived in the evening we had fruit and drinks provided and explored the close-by bars. The first morning Paul brought us breakfast and provided tipps for our Amsterdam tour. And whenever needed we received restaurant recommendations. Very helpfull! Back home they even delivered us a shirt we forgot to pack. Really appreciated!

The room had everything we needed and I loved to have breakfast at the open window with canal and duck view. The location is great as it is very easy to reach the city via tram or a walk and there are also bikes at the houseboat to explore town.

Overall a really great stay! Many thanks for hosting us!!

    Robs picturesque boathouse

my friend and I stayed in the houseboat over the weekend for our birthdays the houseboat itself is beautifully decorated and has a homely feel and beds very comfortable, some nice touches that were appreciated eg a map teas and coffee, small terrace area is lovely to wake up to in the morning, the houseboat is situated slighlty out of town centre and would have been a 35/40 minute walk which we hadn’t realised upon booking but this was not a problem you can buy a bus/tram ticket €17 for 3 days and the buses are every 10 minutes or so, we returned too late for buses but taxi also only cost €10 from Centraal station, if you want to visit Amsterdam and stay somewhere personal and stylish and you don’t want the constant noise of people walking past outside I would recommend Robs houseboat this was my 5th time in Amsterdam and having tried all accommodation types this is by far my favourite

    Amazing 30th Birthday

I brought my partner to Amsterdam as a 30th birthday surprise! Robert and Paul were very accommodating! On our arrival Paul greeted us and gave us the load down on the great spots of Amsterdam, a warm welcome for us! Every night we looked forward to returning to the comfort of the boathouse! Hope we can return again soon.

Super break on an Amsterdam house boat

Thank you for a super break in your houseboat and especially for the gift to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. What a nice surprise. We went to the In Stock restaurant that you recommended - love the recycling concept and the food was excellent. Many, many thanks to such lovely hosts.
