Would stay here again for sure - what a houseboat!

You have to experience it, to believe it. The boat, the terrace, the view, the amenities. Just amazing. From what I understand the boat is available just a few times a year, when the owners are on holiday, so you have to be a bit lucky when it comes to availability. Fingers crossed!

    Amazing houseboat for families

We have been so fortunate to stay on this awesome houseboat while the owners were away. The design is truly amazing and its history is astonishing: this used to be a transport vessel during WWII. You can still see the steel pipes used to pump diesel in and out of the ship. The bedrooms are located on the lower floor and they are perfect for families. One large master bedroom and two bedrooms for the kids. Amsterdam East is a well kept secret: nice and quiet yet close to public transport that brings you into town in about 10 minutes. And not to mention the super nice floor heating and superb wood stove 'Bullerjan' that makes your stay just unforgettable. The amenities are just top notch - fantastic value for money!

    Highlight of the Trip!

Big thanks to our host, Juul, for helping us have an excellent holiday in Amsterdam. We travelled from Canada as a group of 4 and had no problem getting to the boat and oriented. The houseboat itself is chic and very large. It was well equipped for a group our size: spacious bedrooms & bathrooms downstairs and a wide open communal space with a formidable kitchen upstairs. The neighborhood is beautiful, family friendly and close to great restaurants and shops. We visited in Summer and the patio was a wonderfully relaxing place to hang out during nicer weather. Downtown adventures like Leidseplein Square and Amsterdam Centraal are close by and just a short ride on public transit. Can't get closer to paradise than this! I hope to return some lucky day.

    Awesome industrial design

We had the privilige to stay at this wonderful and impressive houseboat in Amsterdam, the Eastern Docks. As architecture lovers we loved the awesome industrial design and the combination of the rugged concrete structure of this world war II ship and the new amenities - mostly custom built. The area is nice and quiet and the bikes take you to the city centre in 10 - 20 minutes depending where you want to go. Loved to stay here during the holiday of the owners, it's a shame that it's not available more often!

    Very peaceful

we had a wonderful stay on the boat. We found it quiet and relaxing. Close enough to get an Uber in and out of Amsterdam.

    Very much enjoyed thank you
