This private houseboat studio in the centre of Amsterdam is a superb location for couples who want to live like the locals. Here you will experience what it is like to truly live on the water. Enjoy the reflections of the water dance on the ceiling, watch the birds swim by while and just relax. 

In the studio you will find a comfortable double bed, a table/desk, mini bar fridge, a microwave and a private bathroom with a rain shower and toilet.

You will find many major attractions at walking distance, such as the Museum Square, the high-end PC Hooftstraat, many designer boutique shops and countless cool bars and great restaurants. And what about the world famous Vondelpark, probably the most laid back place to stroll around with your beloved one.     We had a great time in this small but functional Houseboat, there was everything we needed. We took advantage of the large terrace above the roof and relaxed in a truly unique and special atmosphere. Beautiful I recommend it to everyone and if we go back to Amsterdam we will definitely stay here again! The Pijp area is very nice and full of restaurants and bars without too many tourists.

    Lovely

    We had one room on Michele's houseboat, it was lovely. You open the window by your bed and feed the ducks! On the rooftop you can relax and enjoy the houseboat and the view on the other houseboats. The 'Pijp' is a very nice part of Amsterdam and the flea market is just a 10 minute walk away. We will come back and recommend Michele's houseboat to our friends.

    The best holiday!

    My girlfriend and I stayed on Michele‘s houseboat for 7 days and absolutely loved it. The roof terrace is the highlight of this place, you get a great view and it’s lovely to relax in the sun while boats and ducks pass by. The room is small but has everything you’d need for a short stay and I found the bed very comfortable. It’s in a great location being not too far from the centre but far enough out that you feel separate from the busy tourist areas. Some really nice local restaurants and bakeries. Michele was friendly and welcoming. We couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay. Perfect for us.

    Wonderful houseboat studio in a great location

    About this houseboat studio: small is beautiful. The host made smart use of the limited space on her houseboat. It is clean and tidy. Not in the center of the city-  luckily! -  but in the nicest neighborhood of Amsterdam within walking distance of pubs and restaurants.

    Wonderful stay in a great location

    My partner and I recently stayed in Michele’s houseboat in De Pijp. It was perfect for our stay, we were lucky to have great weather and got to make the most of the roof terrace - and the location suited us really well, with easy access to lots of fun cafes, bars and restaurants. We found the room clean and it had lots of useful amenities including a coffee machine! We’d definitely stay here again!
