Three masted Schooner 'Rumor of Friesland'

Aboard the 'Rumor of Friesland' we are accustomed to organize large events, from business meetings to weddings and family reunions. You can both be part of the crew, or choose to take it easy and relax with your beloved ones.

When departing from Amsterdam, you will sail the Markermeer and from there discover the wide open water of the IJsselmeer (the former Southern Sea). During the multiple day trips we sail the waves of the Northern part of the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea.

The layout of this sailing ship

Wherever you choose to go, this majestic ship offers the perfect combination of relaxation and the unique sailing experience you may expect when boarding such an incredible vessel. Go below deck and find a luxurious seating area where you and your group can sit back and relax after a day of sailing the seas.

In the galley you find a professional 5-pit stove, large oven, fridge an freezer. The ship contains Fourteen luxury bedrooms, Thirteen 3-person cabin and one 2-person cabins. There are 14 douches and 16 toilet on the ship.

If you choose to go for a multiple day sailing cruise with us, be assured that you will enjoy a good night rest. Actually we think it is safe to say that we offer the most comfortable cabins aboard Dutch sailing ships. In total we have 14 high-end cabins, of which 13 3-person cabins. All our cabins have a private shower, sink and toilet for your convenience.
