From the dike where 'TinyTanic' is located, you have a fantastic panoramic view over the IJsselmeer. The skyline of Medemblik can be seen in the west. At sunset, it's a real picture!

When darkness begins to fall, you can see the light of the lighthouses of various Wadden Islands in the distance.

From TinyTanic you can enjoy the sunrise. There is no better way to start your day. The rest of the day you can relax on your private terrace facing south.

For nature lovers it is a dream location because of the many birds (literally) on the doorstep and the nature reserve 'de Vooroever' a stone's throw away.

We are Henk and Martha and we are in love with the outdoor life!

We would like to share a tiny touch of this wonderful feeling by offering a unique stay in our 'TinyTanic' on the water.

We sail, walk and to stay a bit flexible we do yoga. And in a while we would like to discover new parts of the world with the sailboat.

Unique experience on a tiny houseboat

The Tiny Float is a very unique experience. We slept there with wind force 9 (then earplugs are handy) but was very special to stay on a (living) boat with this weather. Everything looked super neat and the landlord was very easily accessible. There is also a good restaurant at the marina, so you are not just dependent on your own kitchen.

    Great houseboatShow original

We spent the last four days on the tiny houseboat and are very happy with it. The houseboat is small but perfectly formed and offers everything you need. The area is very quiet and unspoiled, and everything you need for a holiday is close by. We can definitely recommend the tiny houseboat if you don't need a lot of space and are looking for relaxing accommodation in a peaceful setting.

Super comfortable stay at a houseboat

Wonderful and exceptional location with a wonderful view. It's like sleeping on a boat with all comfort needed (extra comfortable bed!). It was weird at first with the movements of the water but we've got used to it. Thanks Ilse for your great location and for your reactivity to my questions!

    Awesome getaway!

We spent only 1 night in the Tiny Boathouse but we really loved it! It's a very clean and modern looking houseboat with everything you need! (comfy bed, small fridge, shower and toilet, little kitchen where you can cook yourself). The surrounding is great for a nice nature walk and the evening and morning on the water is very calming. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it!
