I discovered the canal transport and the universe of the river more than 30 years ago and I wish to share the magic of this universe by welcoming passengers aboard my barge-hotel moored in a magnificent frame(executive) at the foot of the village of Auvers-sur-Oise when Vincent van Gogh rests for ever...

    Great accommodation

We had a magical night on the barge: - Idyllic setting: a houseboat on the Oise and in the footsteps of Van Gogh - Comfortable with new rooms (the boat opened a year ago) - Quiet - Simple and top breakfast - Terrace with possibility to taste the local specialties (fruit juice / beer). -A fabulous welcome from the manager. I want to specify that it is not necessary to bring a car: the boat is located a quarter of an hour walk from the station and village. I heartily recommend it!

    Beautiful stay

My husband and I spent two nights on Daphne’s houseboat. Spectacular! Lovely to sit outside on the deck and watch the ducks go by with a glass of wine. So peaceful and quiet. Beautiful trees behind and across the river for scenery. Short walking distance to town for good restaurants and to spend time appreciating the place Van Gogh called home for his last 70 or so days. Christine recommended good restaurants and things to do. She served a lovely breakfast at our selected time each day. Recommend this highly and would love to stay again!

    Sleeping on a houseboat ... a dream!

We were greeted by the owner of the houseboat who was very friendly. We spent the night in a spacious cabin with a bathroom (large shower) and toilet. Breakfast was great and it was lovely watching other barges pass over the Oise. At this season, the trees bordering the river have their autumn colors and are reflected in the water, which is beautiful!
