Float House in Bayview

I stayed at this float home in Sept. It had everything needed and it could not have been more relaxing or restful vacation. You woke up to the sunrise right outside your bedroom window. Sitting on the dock in the morning with the boats clanking in the distant. Mountains surrounding you and glass water. Ducks swimming up to great you. There is plenty to do in the area and I would recommend this property to anyone who is wanting a nice vacation. Gorgeous! Romantic for two or a girls weekend to relax. Either way it was perfect.

The location of this house is awesome, and you have everything you need. We spend 4 amazing nights in this float house. It was clean, spacious, and the owner was very helpful on arrival. It is the perfect place for a family holiday!

We spent 4 wonderful days on this fantastic float house. Everything you need is there and the location is awesome. The listing was exactly what we had hoped for, clean, owner was very helpful on arrival... the place was perfect. The Captain's Wheel Resturant which is about 2 minute walk had best Fish and Chips. We fished, kayaked, paddle boated and cooked and ate great food at our "home" for four days. The float house is a perfect place for a family vacation. Thanks we will be back.

First and foremost, the view from anywhere in or outside this house is just gorgeous, and it was so quiet we felt like we were the only ones on the water. We were able to fish, kayak, and paddle boat right off the dock of the place, so it made it feel like it was our own! There is also a lot of hiking close by, because it is in a state park, so if you are the outdoorsy type, this is the absolute perfect place for you! We also enjoyed many of the comforts of the modern world, such as large comfortable beds and couches, and there was even a TV with a DVD/VHS player, and a stock of movies to choose from! All in all, we were only there two nights, but it was THE most relaxing time we have had in a very long time! Gary, who owns the property, was also very accommodating and friendly, even when we ended up arriving later than he was expecting. I definitely want to go back to see more of the park and Idaho, and hopefully can stay at this house again.

Very peaceful and relaxing with Store restaurants and amenities nearby. A little dated yet owners try to go the extra mile to take care of all your needs. View is of the sailboats and lake in the distance.
