Houseboat description

You will find everything you need to take a break around the berth. You can walk, cycle, sail, and sit on a terrace in the area. You can also sit on your own terrace, between the ducks, coots and the grebe family.

It is also a pleasure for cycling enthusiasts. Within an hour cycling along the Zeevangszeedijk you are already in Hoorn, our capital Amsterdam, or in the famous Beemsterpolderen. Cycling a little further you will arrive in Alkmaar, just like Edam, this is a famous cheese city.

The fishing village 'Mooi Volendam', where you can enjoy the cozy catering establishments on the dike on the IJsselmeer, is only 10 minutes by bike.

A bicycle rental is nearby as well as whisper boats to explore the city from the water. The lido or chilling in a quiet spot on the IJsselmeer, everything is possible.

The Woonark

The houseboat is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. In the living room you will find a lovely sitting area with television and internet. The kitchen has a dishwasher, kettle, fridge-freezer, combination microwave and four-burner stove. Through the French doors you come to the floating terrace with a beautiful view.

No leave me stay in March Show original

Absolutely wonderful houseboat in the center of Edam and in a quiet area. Best bit was the floating deck that is wonderful to have a drink on. Friendly visits from ducks that flew over for a chat, every time I went out on the deck. Easy walking distances to shops, tourist sites, and restaurants. Bus station a 10 minute walk with easy ride on bus 314 to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Easy on street free parking and owner very communicative. Overall a lovely stay. I will definitely be back!

We had a very pleasant stay. Well decorated and comfortable house on the water. We loved having breakfast on the terrace by the water. Very quiet location and charming village 20 kilometers from Amsterdam. Thank you Marissa for your welcome!
