This beautiful houseboat is anchored on the Knysna Lagoon, only two minutes from the Knysna Waterfront. Ideally located for fishing and swimming, this houseboat is perfect for both the lazy and the active traveler! We would like to welcome you on our floating paradise.

This houseboat has a classic wood finish, both from the inside and the outside. From the two decks, one can enjoy the scenic surroundings, and experience both sundowns and -rises. There are two double beds, so we are able to host up to four people in total. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a toilet and a hot shower. Inside, there is a warm and cozy fireplace!     A jewel in the middle of the knysna lagoon. Definitely a special and unique experience. And Julia is very nice! Thanks a lot!

    The best experience

    We loved our weekend staying on this houseboat. It's moored just a short distance from the waterfront with it's great restaurants. Taking the little dinghy to and from the boat adds to the charm of the experience. Everything we needed was provided, including towels, bedding, coffee, sugar, etc. we didn't try out the Braai - maybe next time! We're quite new to Airbnb, but Julia made the whole process easy. She was always quick to respond and really friendly. We were met on time, and showed how everything works. You're a super host Julia, and you deserve all the great reviews you've received. We recommend this to anyone who want a romantic breakaway or even if you just want to experience something different.

    Perfect family holiday

    I stayed on the Myrtle Houseboat with my two young children. The boat is anchored in the lake, and it is about 100m by boat to get there. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel right at home. All the facilities we needed were there. Waking up to the peace and quiet is something amazing. Everyone who looks for some place excluded, rejuvenating and comfortable should really check this out!

    Great experience!

    A holiday we won't easily forget. Something totally different, and by different I mean fantastic! By just listening to the sound of water, and by looking at the surroundings and other boats, you finally really relax. The host was very friendly and helpful.

    Julia was very professional

    We were honoured to be the first people to rent the boat through Airbnb, but by no means her first guests. Julia was very professional, friendly and made us feel at home right away. Getting to grips with the dingy took no time at all and we very quickly got the hang of the geyser, shower, gas fridge and all other aspects of the boat. Once we settled in we had an amazing time. We ate by the Waterfront the first night, but cancelled our reservations for dinner for the next two nights to take advantage of the peace and quiet on the boat where there is BBQ (Braai) facilities and we watched the most fantastic sunsets. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom has windows all around, which makes waking up truly fantastic. This really is a different and unique property and it is an experience we are very happy we tried and would 100% do so again the next time we go to Knysna. Thank you Julia.
