Houseboat description

This 57 foot narrowboat, with electric heating and a wood burner is a comfortable romantic retreat in Central London, that is cosy even in the middle of winter. It's within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pubs of Islington.

Relax in the wood panelled interior after a long day exploring London. Enjoy taking breakfast on the deck, people watching and feeding the ducks & swans.  
 
Description
Enter via the front, three short steps take you into the wood-panelled main room with wood burner, high quality double sofa bed, dining table and kitchen. The fully fitted kitchen has a gas hob and oven, plus a small fridge and plenty of kitchen pans, utensils etc if you wish to cook on board.

Via a short corridor is the bathroom, with shower, sink and compost toilet. Then at the stern is a double bedroom with queen size bed and large windows that look out onto the water.

The boat is connected to the main electricity network. 
Bella - Narrowboat in Central London is a narrowboat but she is spacious enough to accommodate 4 people.

The boat is on a quiet mooring, so no parties or loud noise, thank you.

The location is safe and secure. It’s on a private mooring accessible only by a locked metal gate. The public canal path is on the opposite side. The Narrowboat pub with excellent food and drinks is a few steps away.
Islington High Street is a 5 minute walk away.
Angel Tube station is a 10 minute walk.

    Wonderful boat

    Wonderful boat, very comfortable for two people and cosy with the wood burner going. The host was very accommodating and the location was great with a pub conveniently close by. Very quiet and peaceful nights sleep on Regent’s Canal.

    Great Narrow Boat experience

    My husband and I had a fabulous couple of days in Glenn’s narrow boat, Bella. She is in an excellent location, close to fantastic pubs, cafes, and the tube. Very comfortable, with little touches making it a home away from home. We could walk everywhere, but also enjoyed watching the world go by from the deck.

    Wonderful host in Glenn, who provided superb instructions and information for our stay. Lovely little Bella is tucked away in a small, enclosed, and secure part of Islington, with all the amenities you could possibly want, all within a 10-minute walk. Very comfortable accommodation, good bed and bedding, towels provided, wood available for the stove, clean and functional shower and toilet, all with a separate small patio area. Highly recommended host and houseboat.

    An excellent location, really cosy, yet spacious boat. And an amazing breakfast place near the lock. I had a wonderful stay. Great communication too, with my host.
