Modern stylish houseboat 'Dragonfly' near Amsterdam

Staying on the water has something beautiful, and especially on this modern and attractively furnished houseboat, built in 2022, equipped with all comforts.

The location is very central, both for the beautiful Monnickendam and the typical Dutch surroundings, as for traveling to Amsterdam. You can reach Amsterdam Central Station in 20 minutes by public transport. 

Free carparking is included which is very close the houseboat as well. And, the harbour also has the possibility for passing ships to visit, this is done at the harbour of Monnickendam and can be booked at the harbour itself.

In case you would like to explore the area by bike, we also have two e-bikes available for rent.

!!! During the boatingseason (roughly from april till october) the houseboat can have a different location in the harbour.

The space
The accommodation can accommodate up to 4 people. There are two bedrooms, each with two sleeping places. In the living room there is a large comfortable sofa that can be transformed into a spacious sofa bed.

In addition to a spacious well-equipped kitchen with hob and extractor hood, there is a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and a large mirror.

At the front you will find a large window with a sliding door where you can enjoy the beautiful view all around. Open the sliding door to access the spacious front terrace. There is also a spacious roof terrace, which you enter via a staircase at the back, the stairs and the roof terrace both have a good railing.

The master bedroom has a fixed double bed and a wardrobe, and its own door to the aft deck. The second bedroom has a sofa bed that can be used directly as a single bed and can be expanded to a double bed with a simple action.

In the spacious and bright living room you will find a large comfortable sofa that can also be transformed into a very spacious bed for two people.

Access for guests
This residence is all yours and offers you a lot of privacy. You don't share the house with anyone else and you can use all the rooms.

Other things to take into account
You must be at least 25 years old to book this stay. The stay can only be booked for holiday or recreation. Parties and events are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation itself, but you can do so outside via the spacious, partly covered, front terrace, the aft deck and the roof terrace.

The houseboat is very easy to get to. It is located in a nice, gated, marina in Monnickendam which is only 15 kilometers away from Amsterdam. There is very good public transport only 400 meters away from the houseboat.

The area of Monnickendam is a very nice typical Dutch area. There are lot of landmarks to see and Monnickendam has a lot of nice, quality, restaurants as well.
