How to get there

On the E40 motorway from Jabbeke to Calais, take exit 4 towards A18-E40 Middelkerke. Turn left at the canal. You are now on Vaartdijk-Zuid, Middelkerke. Follow the canal for approximately 4 km. Do not cross the canal. Before the bridge, turn right onto the dirt road. I will give you the barrier code. Please limit your speed to 20 km/h. Free parking is available opposite the ferry.

Did you take exit 3, Nieuwpoort? Don't turn off at the signpost"Westhoek Marina,"but drive all the way down the bridge. After the bridge, turn left 180° onto the dirt road to Westhoek Marina.

    It couldn't have been better. The location on the canal was quiet, yet Nieuwpoort was an eight-minute bike ride away. The houseboat was cleverly and high-quality furnished and equipped. Everything matched perfectly. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, etc. On the deck, we could watch the boats passing by and enjoy beautiful sunsets. We would definitely come back.
