We are proud to offer this authentic two-mast clipper, docked in a buzzing Rotterdam city-harbour, only 3 minutes from train station 'Blaak. She was built in 1894, originally as a sailing cargo ship to sail the waves of the Southern Sea. We are glad to say that this beauty was renovated several times and now is completely up-to-date, ready to give you an unforgettable stay in Rotterdam. And know that lots of city highlights - such as the Markthall, Cubical Houses, Maritime Museum, water taxi and lots of restaurants are just around the corner.

With six 4-person and one 2-person cabins this ship offers accommodation to groups up to 26 persons. The ship is equipped with a large open kitchen and cozy dining corner so you can cook and eat together. 

However, is has not always been this comfortable. Until only two decades ago only the skipper and his family could sleep aboard. A large-scale renovation took place in the 1990s when it was converted into a charter ship. The former owner opted for an unusually comfortable layout with very spacious cabins. For example, each cabin has a en suite bathroom with shower and toilet, cupboard space and even a writing table. Aboard a authentic sailing ship, that is comfort!

The ship has 26 beds and is therefore suitable for larger groups. From 12 persons the ship is exclusively yours. There's always someone on board, in a different, private part of the ship. All rooms have a toilet and shower and can be locked. There is also a safe available for the guests. If you want to change the check in time, please let me know and I will try to organise this for you.


At night, there is always someone on board. During the day time you can always contact me by phone. There's plenty of information ready for you about the neighborhood, restaurants, pubs, the architectural, cultural activities and shopping areas.

    Loved this city centre houseboat in Rotterdam

    Recommendation!! The boat is perfectly located in the heart of Rotterdam. We’ve spent a very nice weekend on the boat and have enjoyed the authentic atmosphere to the fullest. Nothing negative to say about it!

    Super ship in Rotterdam

    The ship was super. We rented this houseboat in Rotterdam with 14 friends, so each pair had their own room (and two of three), with their own bathroom. The large common room with large kitchen (enough facilities for cooking for a large group) was also top. So if you wanted to sleep, you did not suffer from noise in this room. Benjamin and Deniz were very nice, and at the moment that the gas was out, Benjamin immediately came to our aid. Thanks for everything! We will come back again!

    The most wonderful time thanks to this boat

    We stayed on this grand old lady and felt at home right from the start. We were welcomed in a very personal fashion by the skipper who lives in a separate room aboard. He was always there if we had any question regarding the ship and Rotterdam. The place is large enough for two football teams and (this is really a super big plus) there is a bathroom on every bedroom! Since we were visiting with a group of colleagues this was very convenient. The location is wonderful, right in the city centre and within the proximity of lots of cool things to do. It is a shame that this ship is not available in the summer when we plan to get back (it's a sailboat rental that sails the waves of the North Sea from April till December). Over all we can not recommend this unique and affordable group accommodation in Rotterdam enough.
