Ship's Hold Apartment

In the belly of this charming freight ship, built in 1937, you will find a large and characteristic houseboat apartment that can accommodate up to 7 guests comfortably. The location right in the city centre is very convenient for discovering our wonderful city.  

Once this was where the freight was stored during the long journey's over the rivers of Europe. Now it's is a very spacious holiday home.

This apartment with central heating has a private entrance, giving way to the large living room with open fully equipped kitchen. In the living room there is a big and comfortable cornersofa and double sofa with footrest.

A long isle along the side of the hull gives way to the master bedroom with en suite bedroom and separate toilet. On the other side of the living room is a second bedroom, also with en suite bathroom.  Both bedrooms have two single beds that can be separated if required. The master bedroom has a loft bed across the two singles. In the livingroom is a charming bedstead that sleeps 2. In total the Ship's Hold Apartment can sleep up to 7 guests.

Note that both apartments are located in a real ship, docked on a real tidal river. This means that it moves with the tide and possibly because of severe winds. You won't get seasick and it is part of the charme, but I think it is also good to be clear about this. 

On top of the deck there is a nice seating area that you can use - a wonderful place to just sit back and relax with your loved ones, while having a drink.

At the far end of the ship is another, smaller apartment that comes with charming wheelhouse. This apartment can accommodate 4 guests, so in total you can stay at this houseboat with a total of 11 guests. The name of that place is 'Captain's Apartment' and can also be booked on Bookahouseboat.com.
