Living on the water is going outside. Make your travel priceless and stay for one or more nights on our Lodge. Weesp is Amsterdam as a small version. Our Lodge is 3x4 meter, terras 2x3 meter. One big bed and toilet, kitchen and table and chairs are in with small bathroom.
How to get there
If you travel by plane, you can take public transport and you will be with us in only 33 minutes. From Amsterdam Central Station it's just 24 minutes by public transport, could not be easier!
About the area
Weesp is part of Amsterdam, and you can sense that by the atmosphere. It's cosy and there are lots of bars and restaurants. However, there are much less tourists and you will feel more relaxed, most likely.
Taking care of the pure staying inside the almost desert island.

Simple but nice
The lodge was in a nice spot in one of Weesp's canals. A canoe was provided to get to the lodge. It took a little getting used to, but actually it was no problem at all and we had a lot of fun! The boat traffic is very low, so it wasn't a problem that we didn't get off well with the canoe in the beginning.
The lodge was clean and tidy and from the small area in front of the entrance you had a wonderful view of the city, which we particularly liked in the evening. However, this is not suitable for everyone, as the lodge really only contains the essentials. The kitchen is a camping grill and a single sink and the toilet has no automatic flushing device and is only separated from the rest of the lodge by a curtain. Everything works fine, but maybe not for everyone. In conclusion, for an evening stay we had a wonderful view, duck babies up close at breakfast and a little canoe adventure. For several days it would be a little too little comfort for us.
