Juul

This was by far the highlight of our stay in the Netherlands. We were warmly welcomed, shown to all local interest points, and multiple amenities on the boat. Hosts were very welcoming - offering us snacks as they introduced themselves! At any point, we felt like highly welcome guests. On the first morning, the owner’s wife brought us a breakfast basket, which added charm to this already miraculous experience! We were provided bicycles to move around. If you find yourself looking for a unique Dutch-only experience, make sure stopping at the “Juul” is in your short list - not only do you get to experience local culture and nature, but also amazing Dutch hospitality! Very charming houseboat, former cargo ship, that's what makes it so special. A quiet place to feel good, every now and then it smells wonderfully of freshly ground cocoa 🤎, which you can then enjoy freshly at the Zaanse Schans mills nearby. 😋 Very dear owners welcome you on the day of arrival and departure with a delicious Dutch breakfast 🧀 en warm brodjes. 👏🏼 Sunset on deck was beautiful, we enjoyed it sooo much. 🥰 Everything you need is there on board, the kitchen is well equipped 💯 thank you very much dear Juul & Peter for these unforgettable days ❤️🤍💙 on your ship. ⛴ We felt very welcome & comfortable! 🥰

Our stay on the boat was very good. Hosts were lovely people. Very helpful. It's a twenty minute walk to Zaandam train station or you can take use their bicycles and then its a 10 min bike ride. You are a five minute walk to Zaanse Schans. Would definitely book a stay there again in the future!
