We gladly welcome you aboard on our luxurious 150 sqm houseboat near Eernewoude, in the nature reserve "The Alde Feanen". When visiting The Netherlands, the beautiful Northern province of Friesland has a lot to discover - and why not do it in style on the water? Our boat can sleep up to 6 persons comfortably and is the perfect stay for both family and friends who appreciate the natural and cultural richness of Friesland.

The houseboat has been newly furnished with many luxurious details. It's truly a floating home with 2 floors. Upstairs you find the living room with an open kitchen, 1 bedroom for 2 persons, and a toilet.

The living room has sliding doors that give a great view on the water side and the astonishing beauty of the nature reserve. In the bedroom you find two large doors with a wonderful view too.

Downstairs we have a second double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with bath and separate shower and toilet. Furthermore there's a hall closet for the washing machine and dryer. The single beds have an extra trundle bed. We have comfortable central heating throughout the entire boat.

Our lovely houseboat is located in the water sports area nearby 'Eernewoude'. The houseboat has a private dock where you can moor one or more boats. You can rent a boat in the immediate vicinity. A large garden (grass, well maintained), also belongs to your houseboat. The area is incredibly beautiful and the location of the houseboat is very private.

From this spot in Friesland, you can also make beautiful trips by boat or bicycle. The lovely cities of Heerenveen, Sneek and Leeuwarden are all within 20 kilometers distance. Highly recommended!

    Modern houseboat with great amenities

    Marvellous location. Peaceful and serene. The houseboat is modern and has all amenities. The upper floor has fantastic views in all directions and the lower floor has more rooms including a modern bathroom, laundry room and more bedrooms. Our hosts were positive, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

    Great 5 days

    We spent 5 days on the boat, with 4 people. We very much liked it; would also be enough space for 6 persons. Great location in Nature, good view on the canal. Excellent WiFi, even when using multiple devices. Very clean. Well equipped.

    Astonishing views and quiet atmosphere

    What a great boat this is: ideal if you like the tranquility of nature. The boat is equipped with all modern amenities you can possibly ask for, and we will surely be back. The houseboat is located in the middle of wonderful area, and however there are a lot of water enthusiasts passing by in boats, it's still pretty quiet. And the views over the water and grass lands are astonishing!

    We were immediately excited when we read the offer. And our expectations were more than met. The hosts were very personable and the handovers were uncomplicated. They also gave us initial tips for orientation in the area; although many clues were also found in pamphlets that lay in the houseboat. The equipment was very loving / comfortable and very functional in terms of kitchen and bathroom. There is enough space for 6 people. The best thing was that when I asked if there was a grill in the garden, a few days later there was one in the garden. We were there with our dog for 11 days and felt completely comfortable. Thanks to the hosts for this beautiful holiday home.
