Clipper Parilicium - sailing cruises from Harlingen

Experience an amazing day with your friends, family or colleagues on the stunning clipper Parilicium. This classical sailing ship has retained its traditional appearance but is modernizedon the inside. The ship is a 36-meter-long sailing ship built as two-masted river clipper. For overnight stays, the clipper offers space for up to 30 people. On request, it is possible to place two extra beds, offering a space for 32 people. On a day trip,a maximum of 50 people can board. The sailing area of the Parilicium consists of theWadden Sea and the IJsselmeer.

The Parilicium was built in 1893 as a two-masted river clipper. The ship sailed in every canal and river in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium and also went to lakes, the Southern Sea, and the Wadden Sea. The ship transported among other potatoes, grain, hay, and coal.

The clipper is a large ship, with lots of space for all the guests. On the deck, you can find a comfortable space to relax, enjoy the sun and to have a good time with your fellow sailors! Since the deck is large and easily passable, without tricky steps, there is enough space to lay down on a towel and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Below deck, a beautiful and comfortable saloon is present. There is enough space for a large group. Here you can play games, have a nice chat with each other, or rest after a long day spent on the water. You can cozy up near the wood stove and have a refreshing drink.

There are three double cabins and six four-person cabins present. All four-person cabins have their own bathroom.Two of the double cabins share one bathroom. One double cabin has its own toilet and sink. All the cabins have been modernized a few years ago. In every cabin, underfloor heating is present. So when a classic Dutch storm is raging outside, you will still be comfortably warm!

Furthermore, there is a fully equippedkitchen installed.

Sailing experience is required.

The Aldebaran is located in the Willemshaven in Harlingen. This is also the departure point for the sailing trips. Harlingen is about an hour drive from Amsterdam. 

The IJsselmeer is the largest freshwater lake in the Netherlands. The lake was created in 1932 by closing a part of the Zuiderzee. The Waddenzee is located between the Waddeneilanden (the Wadden Islands) and the North Sea on the one side, and on the other side the mainland of the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark. Many animals can be found in the Waddenzee, the seal is the best-known animal.
