Houseboat description
Our ship is sailing throughout most of the year, but every winter we dock in Rotterdam during the winter season. This is when we warmly welcome you aboard!
The ship was built in 1904 as a sailing freight ship. Although she is renovated, we are glad to say that we have maintained the authentic character of this old lady. On the deck you can enjoy the wonderful massive masts, standing tall and proud. Below decks there are 7 basic yet cozy cabins.
On the isle there are two compact bathrooms with a shower and sink. Furthermore there are two separate toilets. If you book up to 2 persons, you get a 2x4m bedroom with 2 bunkbeds. If you book with 3 or 4 guests, you get a larger room (3x4m) with 4 bunkbeds.
The whole ship is equipped with comfortable central heating so be assured that you are nice and warm even on the coldest winter nights.
In the shared lounge area you can relax with a cup of coffee or a drink. The kitchen is equipped with a 6 burner gas stove with oven with which you can prepare the most delicious dishes yourself. Furthermore you will find a 225L fridge, 40L freezer, coffee maker and cooker. On request my wife Monique is there to assist you in the kitchen.
Access for guests
The ship is docked in the Wijnhaven, a tidal port which can make the ship somewhat more difficult to access in certain cases (low/high water). A gangway is present to let you get aboard safely. Please note that this might be not very suitable for elderly people and young kids.
Be welcome aboard!
Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed by host Sipke and/or hostess Monique. They will show you around on the ship and are happy to serve their guests. After a good night's sleep on the ship, a nice breakfast is available for you in the morning. For this we ask a small fee of 7.50 euros per person.
We wish you a pleasant and comfortable stay on board!

About the area
Our city harbor has a very cozy atmosphere. Not only during the day when you can stroll around and enjoy the great architecture but also at night with the many lovely lights shining on all the ships that are docked here.
Within just a few minutes you can find may places of interest. If you love culture and architecture, we are glad to say that there are several museums nearby. Think of the Maritime Museum, several art museums and the cubical houses.
Furthermore there are countless restaurants, bars and boutique shops, as well as the world famous Markthallen. This is a daily fresh market, a real melting pot of food cultures from all over the globe.
