Floating Family Villa Utrecht

We look forward to share our floating home on the idyllic river Vecht with you! This houseboat on the verge of Utrecht and Maarssen offers a surprising amount of space, both inside as well as outside. Just 10 minutes away from Utrecht city centre and with a great park and playground in front of your door. Over-all: just the perfect houseboat for families who want it all!

The river Vecht is a charming piece of water, with a special place in our heart. We feel privileged that we live here and enjoy the water life passing by. Not to mention the many water birds that swim here. What a place to stay!

The boat offers 110 square meters, making it a really spacious holiday home. We warmly welcome families - not in the least because our house has the perfect layout for families with kids. There is a master bedroom with a large comfortable double bed. The other two bedrooms are for the kids. One bedroom has a single bed and a folding bed that we can add to the room. The other bedroom belongs to our youngest and has a cool high sleeper.

The living room is really the heart of our home. With a wood stove burner and a large comfortable couch and chairs this is the ultimate place to sit back and enjoy the true 'houseboat experience' while you watch over the water. The open kitchen has everything you need and a large table offers lots of space for six persons. Actually this is our favorite place - just lovely to have breakfast here and enjoy the Vecht River. 

Furthermore we have a bathroom with a large bath, shower and a double sink. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.  

And last but not least: the large garden with a half-roofed terrace making it a great place even when a summer shower would turn up. The BBQ is all yours. And with over 120 square meters of garden there is lots of space for the kids to play. And happy kids mean happy parents - Be welcome!
