Welcome aboard the Harmony houseboat! Have you ever lived on the water? Its a truly unique experience! Sleeping on this houseboat will give you an amazing view of the river Vecht. Boats will pass you by, birds circle around you, and swans and herons will just pass by your windows. You feel free. Close to the center of Utrecht, but in the middle of peaceful nature, this cozy houseboat will give you an amazing relaxing experience.

The houseboat sleeps two people. There is a cozy double bed (a high sleeper), with mood lighting as a finishing touch. There is a silent mini-fridge and also is Wifi available. You can use the kitchen to make coffee or tea. Of course there is also a shared bathroom and a toilet on the boat! 

Outside there is a terrace where you can sit, and you can park for free right on front of the door. The simplicity of the Harmony houseboat, in combination with honest hospitality, makes it an ideal spot for nature lovers, quiet seekers, and romantics.     tiny little Houseboat

    Small houseboat with nice host and the charm of couchsurfing. Quiet and out of town, better to reach by bike or bus.

    very nice houseboat

    This place is really peaceful and quiet. It is quite unexpensive, but it is a bit far from the town, a bike is really needed! Gerard (the host) was very nice and gave us some advices about the places to visit. The town by itself is wonderfull and there is a lot of places to visit !

    Authentic Dutch experience

    The host is very friendly and always offered to help us wherever he could. He gave good advance information on the stay and he made a nice autumn picture from our arrival as a memory for us. We got an outstanding breakfast prepared for us already at 5.30 on a Sunday morning. The equipment of the boat is fairly basic, but the friendliness of the host easily makes up for that. Without reservations I recommend Houseboat Harmony to anyone who wants an authentic Dutch experience.

    Cosy and nice experience

    The harmony houseboat is a super cosy and nice place to stay. It is a very calm environment with a lot of lovely nature. Utrecht center is very close by bike. The host was very caring and sweet. He made sure we had the best time! We had a lovely experience here and would recommend it to every couple!

    Friendly and helpful host - great stay.

    Gerard was really friendly and helpful. He also rents bikes, which are definitely the best way to see Utrecht and the surrounding areas. Get bikes! This location is, as others have noted, pretty far from the city center, so don't make the mistake, as we did, of walking from the central train station to this houseboat if you're carrying heavy luggage
