And now for completely different: why not rent a stylish motor yacht in Amsterdam!

You may have never thought about this option, but staying a a genuine motor yacht in Amsterdam will certainly make your stay unforgettable. This wonderful vessel, a Romanza Cruiser built in 1982, is no less than 12,50 meters in length and offers lots of charm and coziness. We can accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably. Of course you have the whole ship to yourself, so no need to share with anyone.Of course, we have strictly implemented all the measures around the Covid19 hygiene protocol, so you don't have to worry about that.If the Flint is not available, you can take a look at our yachts called Almaz and Amstelle. Same location and host.
As soon as you set foot aboard you will feel like a true captain, especially when you get behind the steering wheel. And although the yacht will stay docked in her harbor - unless you choose to schedule a cruise with us during your stay, she will give you a real nautical experience. Not only because of the warm wooden interior, but also because of the many birds swimming by and the great views over the water.
The location is perfect for those who want to combine a trip to Amsterdam with a good night rest, away from the tourist masses. Good public transport connections however take you into town easily. To give you an impression: the Vondelpark and Central Station are 25 minutes away, The Museum Square 30 minutes, and the Leidse Square and Artis Zoo 35 minutes.
The boat offers two bedrooms: the master bedroom with double bed (195x135 cm) in the back of the ship and a second bedroom in the front with two smaller V-shaped single beds. The master bedroom offers a en suite bathroom with shower, and hot and cold water. The toilet is located in the front of the ship.
You also have a kitchen aboard to prepare breakfast or a simple meal. Then again: who wants to cook in a city with so much great places to eat and drink. And know that inour marina you will find a wonderful restaurant with water front terrace and superb food and drinks as well. Everything for a convenient and unique stay in Amsterdam!
The surprisingly large living room has glass all around so you can enjoy the scenery around you: the panoramic views over the water, the famous and ever changing Dutch clouds passing by, the reflection of the water dancing on the ceiling. No hotel room offers that for sure.
And last but not least we want to mention that the 'Amsterdamse Bos' or in English 'the forest of Amsterdam' is located only 10 minutes walking away. This is a large forest built by hand a century ago to offer the people of Amsterdam a nearby outdoor experience. So if you like wandering and hiking, this can be a great added value to your trip to our city!
Here is quick overview of the amenities aboard:
-Free internet on board
-Coffeemaker (coffee and tea is on board)

About the area
Our marina is located on the wonderful Nieuwe Meer, a large lake on the verge of the city and on the other side the famous 'Amsterdamse Bos'. This man made forest is a great place to wander around and enjoy nature, while on the other hand you have the energizing and buzzing inner city of Amsterdam. Lots of guest find this the perfect combination during their visit to Amsterdam.
My work is my passion, I sail my whole life and currently as a skipper in the canals of Amsterdam. How nice is it to share this passion with guests and let them experience the unique and beautiful city of Amsterdam. As your host I will welcome you on board of Almaz and provide you with all necessary information about the boat and of course about Amsterdam.

The Cozy Amsterdam Motor Yacht
A journey like a dream. Fantastic yacht. We have left there a piece of our heart. Gros: a very kind gentleman, all the time helpful and prompt for any problem or need. Absolutely advisable!
This mMotor yacht is clean and comfortable, all necessary facilities are available, including heater in bedroom that made sleeping so warm and cozy. We really enjoyed the panoramic views sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
The location is not in the centre but there is a bus stop at about 10 mins walking from the houseboat and by bus you can reach old city within 15 minutes. Gros is a wonderful host. Many thanks for wine, waffels and other sweets on board :)

Quaint boat in a calm and charming marina
Gros' boat is moored in a charming and quiet marina near the ASV Arsenal football club. It's only a 25-minute bike ride from Amsterdam city center and at the same time, it's conveniently connected with the A4 highway. Gros is an extremely hospitable host who made sure we felt on his boat like at home. He kindly made available a bike to us. If you need more, there is a very nice bike rental place in the neighbourhood. Also, it's possible to park the car nearby free of charge. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing one to have a great breakfast in the living room or on the deck. Taking a shower in the en suite bathroom is a challenge as the shower is located in the bow of the boat, which is not its highest point. However, I consider it a part of the adventure and experience of a stay on one of the Amsterdam's boats.
