Floating Amstel Villa

Heavenly, that is how the houseboat is being experienced by guests. The amazing view over the Amstel - the most famous river of Amsterdam - brings an instant holiday feeling of relaxation. Peace & nature in the middle of the city. The amount of sun and light coming in through the large windows creates a bright atmosphere. Just watching the ducks, swans and little boats - you dont have to go anywhere. But if you want, you are in the middle of the popular part of Amsterdam - De Pijp. Terraces, bars, restaurants, markets, culture and parks. This is a unique experience living like a local on a houseboat and feel how amazing it is.

Our contemporary designed houseboat has two levels and is best described as light and bright. On the top level you will find a fully equipped open kitchen that offers a great view over the water of the Amstel River.  Picture yourself sitting at the bar with a fresh brewed cup of coffee, making plans for the day while watching the swans, geese and ducks swim by. Without a doubt the perfect location to get started for another inspiring day in town.

The open kitchen is located next to the living room, spacious and a true lounge area. All the materials used when building our dreamboat are high-end wood, concrete and metal. This results in a typical rugged, yet warm atmosphere all through the boat.

And it gets even better: step outside and you will enter the vast floating private terrace of 48 square meters. Here you will find a large dining table, two sun loungers and a big hammock. Everything to make you comfortable during the many sunny hours that this place has to offer (facing the south, this is actually the most sunny place possible).

The lower floor is home to the bedrooms and bathroom. In the beautifully designed bathroom, you will find a great mosaic bath and a separate shower. All beds are high end quality, so a good night rest is assured.

The unique selling point of our houseboat is without a doubt the location. The Amstel River is very wide, giving a great view over the water - quite different from a houseboat located on the many canals of Amsterdam. You will stay right between the buzzing Pijp and Oost - two parts of the city that are known for their many cool bars, restaurants (foodies welcome!), shops and museums.
